Pleasantly Surprised with this Simple Extension
This is basically an adjustable section of water pipe, but its design and fabrication were done well and so it does its job well. I used this to upgrade to one of those large, round "Rain Shower" type heads - It allows the new shower head to be positioned above the wall-elevation of the supply pipe (don't want to bump the shower head with my head!). The Extension has good build quality and finish - & it is a close match to the Nickel shower head and the wall pipe. Cleanly cut pipe threads made it easy to attach - No need to chase the threads or remove any stray turnings. The two thumb screws for adjusting the bends are solid and have held firm over several months of use - no sagging of the shower head. I would recommend this to others for the same purpose.

Good quality for the price.
I was dubious about this extension arm when I took it out of the box. It appeared small and not very sturdy. The reason I got it was that the showerhead in our new house was very high up -- probably 2 feet above my head, and I'm fairly tall. I wanted to move it down closer to my head because it was hard to get all the soap/shampoo off with it being that high up.However, after using it for a few weeks, I must say it's working very well. It holds up my handheld showerhead with no problems, and I haven't had any issues with it bending or drooping; it stays in position very well. For the price, durability and ease of installation, I would definitely recommend this extension arm.

Decent quality extension that gets the job done
The fit and finish of the brushed nickel on this arm is great, and matches my existing shower head neck as well as my Delta Ignition2 kit. They include a small ring of Teflon tape, which was appreciated. I ended up removing the screen and washer in order to get it just right, and just loaded it up with the included Teflon tape so it didn't leak. YMMV, but installation is generally pretty easy and straightforward. No need to hire a plumber. Now, a little info on my installation experience and intended purpose... I bought this to extend my typical suburban shower/bath tub combo shower head stem, with the goal of making a more "rainfall" experience that seems to be all the rage these days. I chose this 10" version to use with an existing Delta Ignition2 series hand sprayer set, and it supports it just fine, but be warned: extending just 10" more is not far enough IMHO. I wish I had gotten the 18" arm instead, but I couldn't find it cheap enough. With the 10" arm, I'm still standing so close to the front of the tub that my foot is sometimes over the tub drain, which is awkward. Go for the 18" if you want to be closer to the middle of the tub. I settled on just angling it out (not pictured) anyway, because directly overhead showerheads that mimic the downward "rainfall" flow of water makes it difficult to get your underarms anyway. So... lesson learned. Finally, this extension does, in fact, step down the diameter of your shower stem's pipe. It does slightly reduce water flow, but shouldn't be too noticeable unless your home suffers from poor water pressure. For those who suffer from poor water pressure, I would suggest you look at a different extension that is the same diameter of your shower stem. Good luck!

Functional, attractive, but little more difficult to install correctly
I am comparing your product against the product I had, upon purchasing this home. The installed product's color did not match my shower fixture's coloring (oil rubbed bronze), it was closer to a copper color. The connections at the shower outlet pipe and at the extension end had nuts that allowed the extension to be positioned and then tightened into the correct position. The 2 adjustment joints leaked and I tried to install new O-rings but that didn't work, they still leaked. That's when I decided to try your product.I installed your product yesterday. The fixed joint at the shower outlet end required me to line it up perfectly, so that the extension stuck straight out. On my first attempt I had to back it off the threads after tightening and that produced a leak. I had to remove your product and re-tape the threads and start again. At the extension end it of your product was a fixed joint also and I took extra care to line up things without tightening too much. The color of your product matched my shower fixtures perfectly. The adjustment joints did not leak and time will tell if those loosen up and allow the extension arm to drop or the O-rings (I assume) to leak. Your price was fair on your product.I hope that helps.

This is a must have if you install a waterfall shower head
I purchase a 9" waterfall showerhead and after installing it, I decided I needed to have an extension arm. By using the showerhead by itself, you limited to having the shower spray from the wall out toward you. After installing the arm, you can have the showerhead higher or lower to suite your needs and more importantly, you can have your waterfall coming straight down on you, which is what these are designed to do. You don't have to be hugging up next the the wall to have your shower. Installation is very easy and the quality of the product appears to be good. I have had mine in place a couple months now and I have had zero issues.

Unfortunately not adjustable.
I ordered it thinking the end that connects to the shower hear would be flexible and can move it upwards since the shower pipe thats coming from the wall points down. Unfortunately it doesnt. Thank God my wife and I are short or it wouldn't work but we are dealing with it. Otherwise and very stable and strong piece that looks good. If it was more flexible it would've received a 5 star review.

Fantastic product and great value
I live in a house with high ceilings so the shower head was way to high for my comfort. This product solved the problem. It was very easy to install and it came with plumber's tape, which was very handy. I highly recommend it. There is a flexibility to adjust the position as you need, which makes it a truly amazing product. I read the reviews before purchasing and was concerned about leaking, but clearly the people who report leaking don't know how to install it properly. If your original shower head is not leaking, then there's no way this product will. I highly recommend this adjustable shower arm.

Perfect!
It solved my issue perfectly. The shower is at the perfect height. The small concern is that you have to use the teflon ruban even if there is a gasket washer. So, you are seeing the white band. It means that the threads and ends are not perfectly tight for a washer.
