BLUEWATER ROPES 7mm x 50ft Camo Accessory Cord (499753)

We used this 7mm cordage as a handline on some exposed sections of a scramble in the North Cascades. It made such a huge difference having this!! I even tested it out at home and was able to rap off it - could save your life in a pinch. Just remember this is NOT a climbing rope.

This rope came in a clear plastic polybag. The rope is the perfect size for making prusik knots or other friction knots in rock climbing. I also use this type of rope for all sorts of small projects and for practicing knot tying. The weave seems very tight and good construction. The ends are taped and burnt so there is very little risk of fraying. I would recommend this cord to friend. This is NOT a climbing rope! But it is probably stout enough to create master points. If you wanted to cut this rope, it should burn pretty easily to prevent fraying.

Good quality, but also more stiff and harder to knot than Sterling cord.

Bluewater ropes is the only cord I'll make my prusiks out of. My technical rescue instructor first mentioned it to me because that's what he used and I've been using them ever since.

Haven't had a chance to use it. It's climbing rope for making prusiks etc. I ordered woodland but is od green which is ok. I will use this with 11mm static rope.
