i really liked the ground up kind so easy to add to , if you need to boil , just add the ground kind and boil away

This mostly worked for it's intended purpose (elderberry syrup), but we won't get the powder again due to settling that was unavoidable. No fault of the product, just wanted to try powder hoping it would dissolve

I ordered this in October 2023, but, did not run out of my previous Organic ground cloves until now. So, just tried. Extremely disappointed. Packaging is different, too. White package with label stuck on a bit haphazardly with the company logo. Aroma is extremely medicinal, even chemical smelling and harsh, very sharp, not like cloves at all. And I know my cloves very well! Flavor is not like any cloves I have used before. It has the Eugenol numbing effect without any of the pleasantness, and I cannot use this in cooking. I wish I had tried the product sooner. I have to give this a thumbs down, sorry I wasted my $, and need to search out a better quality.

I got this today and will give it a try. I was disappointed that the description says raw organic cloves but the package mentions no word of raw on it. It has good reviews so will give a go, but won't buy it again due to the package description not matching the description of the product.
