If I could give a negative, I would. The teeth stripped off within 5 seconds of use on thin sheet metal. The seller will not refund, terrible service, terrible product.

I've had great luck with the diablo lie of tools. This one was a no brainer for me since I already had the diablo mandrel and I needed a 4/18 hole saw to cut holes to mount a couple recessed lights in a floating shelf. I used it in a drill press and it was easy to get clean crips holes that were a perfect fit for mounting my lights. It does make a fair amount of sawdust but no more than any other hole saw. I set the press to about 700 rpm and that seemed to be a good speed for it. These diable bits and sawsare always nice and sharp and give a good cut. I love hte mandrel sysem on this one. And the way it is veted allows me to look through the side and position the pilot bit precisely on my mark when starting my cut. The result waws a nice little project.

Was drilling 5/8 plate steel with a magnet base drill and didn't Wana go to to town due to covid... We have all been there right? So I borrow my neighbors cute holesaw kit and against my better judgement I tried it out. I oiled the work and as soon as the teeth engage the plate this saw gave a chirp and spit out all it's teeth. 🤬 The tool didn't look up to the job before but I was in a pinch...And yes, people tell me all the time that I can't drill plate with a hole saw.... and yes, You can with a good one. But this purchase is to replace the one I borrowed from neighbor

Its probably a great hole saw but it should be noted this does not use the standard quick change arbor. This is a 'special' and completely different type of quick connect arbor. I don't need another arbor especially if its specific to one brand of hole saw.

This worked very well for installing my air conditioner. It has two 5" hoses (one for intake and one for discharging the hot air.I went through drywall, plywood and sheet steel.You really have to be careful when hand-holding a drill with this large of a hole saw. It could rip the drill out of your hands very easily.

The hole saw itself is constructed well. When it is new be careful cutting metal doors. It will want to rip the drill right out of your hands. I've had 3 new 2-1/8" hole saws from them and every new one is sharp and wants to bite hard.

Hole saw works perfect with my Diablo electrician's kit. The quick arbors from the kit slipped right in. I use this 6" size for can lights with no issues. Just remember to always run them in reverse; they are aggressive! Diablo by Freud is a quality product.

I am a general contractor. I have been buying all different kinds of hole saw bits through the years, and some were better than others. The only problem is cutting sheet metal that is not 100% anchored. The big teeth hooks the metal.......hold on tight
