Great gift for someone who has lost a loved one. Well made.

I like everything about this locket. The quality and workmanship I found to be excellent. The size was perfect for my taste, small but not tiny. The chain provided, delicate but strong. The abalone back ground behind the silver tree was crafted in a way to make it look like a lovely sky. I had read reviews that talked of difficulties opening the lock, but I have not found this to be the case with mine. It does not fall open, I actually have to slip my fingernail in to pry it open, (but not with any excessive difficulty) so I know the contents are secure.I would recommend this locket as a high quality yet affordable locket.I would also suggest that if one purchased this locket and found (for instance) difficulty with the lock, to return it for an exchange for one that DOES open easier, as I realize that there may be variations on things like this between lockets.

When I opened the box I was disappointed to find the locket was so small. I didn't anticipate it being small, but it is still a cute locket. Came nicely packaged and has a shining cloth. I saw others tarnished and I hope mine doesn't because I do wear it every day (but not in the shower or swimming). Guess we'll see.The locket is well made, firm closure, and I love the image. Now I have to find pictures smaller than the ones I have now.UPDATE: Locket did tarnish despite not wearing it in the shower or ever getting it wet. Looking to invest in a real sterling locket now. Still think this one is cute though.

This locket is so beautiful. I love the simplicity of it as well that it holds meaning inside of it. The quality is great :)

This made the perfect gift for my nephew's wife, who has a new baby. In the locket, I put a photo of her baby on one side and a photo of her husband on the other. I'm going to get one for my sister's birthday too. It's really lovely and I got such a nice thank you note for it.

The locket it self is perfect..the chain is a bit thinner than expected.but otherwise it's good product

Other reviewers said this necklace was small and hard to open and I was hoping they were wrong. They measured it in a funny way. The actual pendant is 1.8 cm by 1.8 cm they measure the part that goes on the chain. I missed that. It's really hard to open and you can only put one very small picture instead it. I will keep it bc it is a nice piece. I will not use it as a locket as it doesn't work for that I wanted.

This pendant is beautiful but is very small to use as a locket. I would not recommend it for a locket

The media could not be loaded. First of all, I would like to say that for the price I paid (~$65) I appreciate only the pendant itself; the chain ⛓️ is very thin (perhaps even too thin for the pendant). For that, minus 1/2 a star. I have switched the pendant onto a stronger .925 snake chain that I already had and it looks very proper on that. So, as you can deduce $65 for a small sterling silver locket is pricey. I wish there was an option to pay only for the pendant and opt out of the chain.Secondly, the locket is quite hard to open in fact, it is impossible to open it without a tool. That being said, the locket is sturdy. I do believe that those complaining of fragility and cheap quality are referring to the chain however the pendant itself is solidly made- at the cost of difficulty opening it. I'm not bothered by this: I'd rather it be hard to open than fall apart everything I did open it.Someone mentioned that the locket is not very detailed. For this, all I have to say is that it is exactly as shown in the product photos. There is no misleading, and honestly, for an object the size of a thumbnail, there is about as much detail as can be fit lol. I think most people can appreciate the fact that the smaller the size of an art piece, the fewer the details there will be. Overall, I love this locket for its unobtrusive size, robust build and very unique design. I cannot say I've seen many locket like this at this size. To the seller, however, most people would enjoy this purchase much more were the chain a little more chunky.
