These work fine, as described, however, they are available for 10 bucks in several outlets. I was unhappy to have paid $79 for them, then to discover my mistake. Large disappointment! They make great driving glasses. Rather than darken your light source, they mediate the intensity and brighten objects viewed.

The sunglasses were bright and cut glare well. However, clarity was horrible. I don't know if it's all the protective layers on the lens or what, but it was impossible for me to see road signs until I was right on top of them. I have not experienced this problem with the other sunglasses I have owned. The primary use was for my motorcycle since I have a clear shield to give me eye protection. I returned the item.

Sunglasses are functional, fit well, and appear well made. There is nothing that really sets them apart from other aviator style sunglasses. I gave them to my wife who likes them.
