Earlove XO Hi-Fi Earplugs -Standard Size by Etymotic Research

Nice fit, and good protection in loud environments. The quality of the case could have been better.

I have not really used quality ear protection before, but am going to a large music festival at the end of the month (possibly the largest ever. YAY!!!!) and wanted to get proper protection. After receiving these, I had some problems getting them to properly fit. I found it was due to the size I had ordered. I ordered standard size, when I should have ordered a size small. I contacted the company asking them for assistance in getting them to fit. Their Customer Service was outstanding. They went over ways to properly fit me and how to maximize protection. They went out of their way to help me. This is an amazing company with really delightful people behind it.I will give an update once I use them for their intended purpose, but I can tell you from testing them, listening to music was just as clear, but without the after effects of pounding headaches or ringing. They take some time to get used to, as I imagine all ear protection does. So if you are used to using ear plugs, this should not be an issue. Mine are comfortable and clear.

they did not work. were way too small for my ears and let sound in. i had to buy a new set that actually worked. waste of money

I've had chronic tinnitus for the past 4 years (25 years old, no hearing loss, just tinnitus) and i'm hyperacoustic, so very sensitive to loud frequencies, but i'm a musician, so no getting around it. But the attenuation of these plugs are amazing. I was really only interested in protecting my hearing, but figured id give the clarity providing plugs a try. I went into an edm club, 15 feet from the speakers, and they worked as advertised. The quality of the music and sound was still there, but just the overall volume was decreased enough to take the bite and harming frequencies away from your eardrums, plus the keychain carrying case is awesome. As someone who is very serious about their hearing and inner ear health, I strongly recommend these plugs. Won't regret it.

10/10 would recommend.I went to see Excision (google his live shows) and I ended up standing in the front rowThese enormous speakers were blasting such heavy bass that I literally felt gusts of air hitting my faceI had 0 hearing damage after taking these out once the show was over.Earlier this year, I had been clubbing in Korea without these earplugs (and the music was quieter) and that left my ears ringing for days.After wearing these out, I never go to a music fest/ EDM concert without these!They're a bit weird to get used to, but once you do, it's such a godsend for your hearing

medium ear buds work fine for me when using headphones, but these "standard fit" ear plugs are too small, they hit the back of my ear canal uncomfortably, don't form any kind of seal, and don't stay in place.

Worked perfectly and fit comfortably! I bought these to use at concerts and large night clubs where the music is very loud. I was tired of coming home with my ears ringing for days after a loud venue. Comfortable to wear and fit nicely!I highly recommend these for anyone that is an avid concert goer, or to anyone that plays in a band.They do not stop you from hearing all of the highs, mids and lows, or from talking to your friends or band mates. They do protect your hearing from very loud music and sounds.

These new XO Etymotic earplugs are much firmer and seemingly smaller than the supposedly same size regular plugs I have enjoyed using for some time.
