Newsprint Packing Paper, 10 lbs, Approx. 24 x 36 inch, (NEWSPRINTW10)

Good for packing.

I bought these because I sell a lot of fragile items that require mailing/shipping. I use this paper to wrap the items in, as a second layer (first layer are foam sheets). This paper works great. Each sheet is a tad thin and rip easily, but that doesn't bother me. They work great for what I am using them for.

wish it was cut to all the same size, some sheets are longer than others, but I just used to for my dog who goes in the house all the time, she likes this paper so its cool

While this is decent quality newsprint for packing and wrapping, I had hoped (based on photos and other reviews) that this was the thicker, shiny paper that is sold as packing paper. I like it better for packing and wrapping, and I like using the leftovers in crafts. This is just regular newsprint (haven't found a single glossy sheet) and it's about the thickness of a regular printed newspaper. It'll get the job done, but it's not what I was hoping to receive. I'd give it 4.5 stars if I could, but they only allow whole star ratings and 5 is reserved for when I find that best quality packing paper.

Decent quality for the price.

SO much better than bubble wrap. You can custom fit ANYTHING in a box with this stuff. I just moved 1200 miles and everything I packed with this paper came thru totally perfect. I ended up not even using the bubble wrap I bought.....

I use these types of papers to line my animal cages. The issue I had with this brand was all the papers are different sizes... 2-4" different on many.. and ALSO different thickness. Some are very thick heavy sheets, and others are the typical thin newsprint. Since I am paying for 10lbs. with these thick sheets I really dont need, they are giving less sheets per package in comparison to the brands with more uniform thinner sheets. On the plus side, they came very quickly, packaged well. I guess decide what you need them for... and if this is important to your needs.

Were moving across the country. Although I hate buying “moving supplies” ( I think it should be given freely and then dropped of somewhere so that someone else can reuse it, they then return it when done for the next guy, etc.) I bought this paper to help with the packing of delicate items.. I didn’t realize the quality of the paper mattered until I ran out and ran to the big box store to buy some more. The one at the store is thinner which means you use more to wrap an item and the sheets are smaller. This paper is wider and since it’s thicker, you can use one sheet per item if you can get it completely covered. It also works better as a cushion at the bottom and top of your boxes. The Big box paper cost me 9.99 for 120sheets; however you have to use several per item. The 21.00 for this is a better deal when you consider you can wrap more with less Paper. When I run out of the crappy stuff I’ll be back for more of this paper.
