Exceptional TV viewing experience, but sluggish response
We have this setup in the corner of our living room, so when the Ambilight comes on it really turns the TV into a show piece and the light effect still works very well. It's better than it looks in the pictures, and worth buying this TV for.Picture quality is very good, its not that far off my significantly costlier QLED. Sound is good for a TV unit, can always add a soundbar to improve but I haven't needed to.This TV doesn't have Disney or Funimation available, but it does have Netflix and Amazon. That's what I have an xbox for, or could always get a firestick.My only real complaint is that if left on for a while, the TV becomes real sluggish and unresponsive to the remote buttons. You'll hit volume up, see the red light flicker, and wait about 10 seconds for the volume to actually change. Now and again, it never even does, just gives up. This is easily solved by simply turning it on and off again at the wall, so not too much of a pain, but may irritate some who perhaps can't reach the sockets or such.All in all, price dependent of course (I paid £380), I can easily recommend this TV.

Amazing picture quality and mesmerizing Ambilight
The media could not be loaded. So I bought this 58" TV to replace an old Philips TV (still works fine, but is too small for the viewing distance in my current house), and I am blown away by the ambilight and picture quality. It is gorgeous, and so immersive.I got this together with the sound bar/subwoofer and can say the sound quality is excellent too. It was great to have this kit for Eurovision and I'm looking forward to playing some games on it.The design is clean and modern and the overall look is just beautiful. Very happy with this.I'm also pleased to say that Philips have addressed the "foot screw issue". Several people have reported receiving screws for the feet on the TV that are too long, but as confirmed by later buyers and now myself that is no longer the case.I'm also very pleased to be able to buy a European/Dutch product of this outstanding quality, instead of something Asian (with all due respect for Asian quality and engineering). Assembled in Poland, and I'm sure the component parts come from all over the world, but it's a start. My previous Philips TV's are 17 and 12 years old and still going strong, so I am looking forward to spending the next decade with this beauty. What a TV! And altogether for less than 700£, that's ridiculously good value for money. I'm super, super happy.

Absolute SHAMBLES!
I ordered this television and was eagerly awaiting it's arrival.. After a week had passed & I'd heard nothing from Amazon about a delivery date (despite the delivery estimate being 3 days after ordering).. So I rang Amazon and was told that the television had gotten "stuck" in the distribution centre and that they would escalate my delivery so I'd get it as soon as possible, which as a Prime customer I was expecting anyway.. The next morning I get an email telling me that the TV was actually out of stock and that I should cancel the order, which considering I'd been without a TV for over a week was particularly aggravating.. So I contact Amazon again to ask questions and cancel the order.. Then (to my amazement) I'm told that the TV WAS in stock and if I waited just a couple more days it would be with me by the end of the week.. At this stage I was so annoyed, but I agreed.. Two more days pass and I get an email saying that the TV was going to be delivered later that day.. I took the afternoon off work, sacrificing money so there would be somebody here to take in the delivery.. I waited until 8pm before I gave up.. The next day I contact yet ANOTHER Amazon CS agent who went and got his boss, his boss said "nothing I can do, it's out of stock"! By now I'm fuming over the whole thing so I asked the Manager to cancel the order, I also cancelled it myself using the app, or so I thought.. I ordered the TV from Argos instead, it was a bit more expensive but it turned up and I was happy with my new TV.. THEN 3 days after that, the TV I'd originally ordered from Amazon, the one I'd cancelled through multiple routes, turned up! I wasn't in at the time it was delivered so it was accepted by my Sister who was in.. I then looked at my bank account and was mortified to see that they'd charged me and I was £259 into an unarranged overdraft and was going to be charged daily for the privilege.. I had to borrow money to pay for my food through till payday and had to arrange a payment vacation on my mortgage because Amazon had taken all my available funds.. I immediately get in touch with Amazon to explain the whole situation to yet another, completely uninterested CS agent and another manager who said he couldn't do anything about the situation until the television had been collected and was back at their warehouse.. So we arrange the collection for Thursday, I took ANOTHER day off work to be here when they came to collect.. They didn't show up and I'd lost ANOTHER days worth of money.. On Saturday they finally came and picked it up and now all I have to do is wait for the TV to make it back to the warehouse and I'll get my refund.. It took an entire WEEK for that to happen, prompting more fruitless phone calls with their, speaking frankly, useless customer service agents..If you've made it this far then thank you for reading, truth is even with all that I've written I'm still leaving some things out.. It really has been a life shorteningly stressful experience and hands down the VERY WORST customer service I have EVER received from any company IN MY LIFE! The people in chat are completely useless, can barely even read english and their managers arn't any better either.. If you're ever making a complaint then don't listen when they say they're "escalating" to matter, that's just guff to try and make you go away.. Through lost wages, unarranged overdraft charges and late payment fees I've nearly lost the price of the TV, something I mentioned on numerous occasions to customer service managers who barely even apologised..So anyway, if you're asking me whether buying a TV from Amazon is a good idea then I would say no.. HARD no.. I wouldn't wish the ordeal on my worst enemy..The Television itself is okay, the lights out of the back is the best thing about it, it really adds a lovely ambience while you are watching.. Aside from that though it's really nothing to write home about.. Set up was horrible because the manufacturers thought it would be a good idea to put all the connection ports facing the floor, so you really have to feel around for them.. The power chord falls out really easily too.. and the feet are extremely flimsy and cheap looking.. I'd give it a 3/5 but only because I like the Ambrilight feature, otherwise it'd be a 2/5..Again, thanks for reading, I do hope if you've read all the way to the end that I've said enough to prevent you from going down the road I went down.. Argos or Currys might be a bit more expensive but at least they will deliver on time and won't mess you around like this...

Not a very good TV
It’s a really lovely looking TV and goes really well with our decor, however we have had nothing but problems with it randomly switching on in the middle of the night, or when we want to actually put it on via the remote it doesn’t switch on, the red light at the bottom light flashes but nothing happens so we then have to switch it off and on at the wall! To be honest I would want my money back but I highly doubt this will be something Amazon allow, considering we didn’t set this up until November but purchased in the June, to only have it 4 or s lo months these problems are very irritating and I feel we wasted £430

Bonsoir,je viens de rentrée du boulot et en allumant la télé voici la surprise que j'ai.J'ai le son mais pas l'image.Il n'y a ni fissure, ni trace , ni bosse sur l'écran.Que dois-je faire?Merci

Estuve dudando muchisimo antes de comprar esta tv por las opiniones negativas y tal...NO PUEDO ESTAR MAS CONTENTO!!!!!.Leí que si alexa no iba,que si la respuesta del mando era lenta que si la imagen que si... en fin que aunque es cierto que habia opiniones buenas casi todos decian alguna pega.Pero al ver este modelo 70PUS7855 de 70" por 699€ no me pude resistir y MENOS MAL QUE LO HICE!!!!!1. Alexa configurada en Español sin problemas (si bien es cierto que la limitan bastante,por ejemplo no se puede usar spotiffy)2. El mando que leí por ahí que tenía lag yo no he notado nada.3. En cuanto al smart tv no me preocupa lo mas minimo ya que lo tengo conectado al pc y ahi ya lo tengo todo.He conectado la cuenta de netflix DIRECTA SIN USAR EL PC AL TV y he probado algunos visionados en 4k como muestro en las capturas y la calidad ES ESPECTACULAR!!!4. El sonido sin ser una maravilla es mas que aceptable y trae varios modos automáticos para configurarlo.En conclusion mas que satisfecho con la compra y mas que recomendable como siempre amazon con un envio super rapido.5. Nada de nada de fugas de luz y unos negros muy muy logrados.6. Spettacolare e irraggiungibile
Direi che è impossibile tornare indietro. Una volta provata questa immersione con Ambient light è dura tornare alle TV normali. Display bellissimo e colori realistici. Questo 58" è proprio quello che desideravo. Unico piccolo neo forse è il sistema operativo saphi non velocissimo

Très agréablement surpris
Pour moins de 800€ je m'attendais à une TV un peu moyenne, mais celle-ci s'avère de très bonne facture.Bon écran, belle qualité d'image, le rendu de l'ambilight est très sympa, je ne regrette pas du tout cet achat.
