The top is a cloth material and is soft, smooth, and comfortable to the touch. My mouse, a Logitech MX Master 3, tracks perfectly on it. The edges are sewn all the way around with no fraying threads. The bottom is a non-slip rubber material that stays put.It sort of smells like rubber when you open it, but that goes away in a couple days.Overall, I'm very happy with it and would recommend it to anyone who needs a large mousepad.

I've been using this mousepad for almost 2 years, and it's been an absolute gift! It's big enough to cover most of my desk, which gives me tons of room for mouse movement, it's super easy to clean, and with the several times i've cleaned it with a SCRUB BRUSH, it hasn't even started to fray. A must have for your setup!

The edge has a little fray in one spot but a quick melt with a lighter cleaned that up. I left it unrolled on the floor for a couple days and it lays completely flat now, it's smooth and cool to the touch on my wrist and both of my mice glide smoothly on it. I'm happy with it for what I paid for it and have no complaints, I'd buy it again and suggest it to others.

For the price and quality, you can't go wrong w/ these - that is unless you have a tiny space on your desktop for these mouse pads. They are approx 10x8 inches w/ smooth on top and grip on the underside.Easily washed by hand and left to air dry.
