Only good for brass!
Mouth hole bot big enough for woodwinds. It will chip your reeds.

Give yourself a few extra bars to get your mouthpiece in
Pros: comfortable, nose bridge wire molds well so my breath doesn’t fog up my glasses, straps adjust.Cons: takes extra work and sometimes an extra hand to get the mouthpiece through the opening, bottom rides up my chin. I’m a horn player, so the mouthpiece is pretty narrow, slightly less diameter than a trumpet…not sure what a baritone, trombone, or tuba player would do with this. The nose wire seems thin, so I hand wash it.Glad I tried it. Now I’ll look for a more functional one.

Nice placebo!!
You have to decide if you are going to play the gig or pass out with this thing on! I tried to play with this and besides not being able to inhale fully enough to get through a phrase, it got so hot I thought I would not be able to continue. As a sax player, I see this only as something to give a false sense of security that you are protecting yourself and others. You just have to decide if the gig is safe...keep your distance, use a shield,...but the air is escaping from my tone holes AND the bell of my instrument so why am I masking? I am not an anti-masker, just this is not an effective protector. (distance/outdoors is better if you go live)

Not good for clarinet and saxophone players.
The concert band I play in requires a mask to be able to participate. A fellow clarinet player had one with a vertical opening as does this one so I was optimistic this one would be good. I even made the opening larger but with it's design, that was of limited benefit. It might work better for say a trumpet than most woodwinds.

Not easy to use.
Almost impossible to get the mouthpiece into the hole without using you hand to open it. How do hold your instrument, turn pages, and get your mouthpiece in the proper position?

Nose Bridge Metal broke during first wash...
The metal nose bridge broke during the first wash. Not worth the money if it’s going to fall apart in a short time.

Multifunctional and feels good material
I ordered the mask last week and it arrived quickly in two days. My son used it for his saxophone playing. He commented it is well done appropriately to serve its purpose. The material is soft and feels comfortable. It actually can be used not only for playing instruments but also for daily use for convenience during the pandemic time. He highly recommends it to his friends.

Horrible mask
This is a horrible mask. You cannot easily fit trombone mouthpiece between two open layers. Do not recommend.
