This is an amazing toy! High quality, very well priced. The magnets hold strong. This toy was a gift for our middle son's 6th bday, and instantly it was a favorite between him, his 8 year old brother and 2 year old brother. We are a Montessori home, and this toy fits lovely into our shelf work. It is now a staple and played with daily! Fits on our brio tracks, as well as fun creations tovether with our Tegu blocks! We loved it so much Highly, we bought a second set within a week of buying our first set! Highly, highly recommended!

This is a very large set. The box says that it’s for ages three and up. I would say some of the builds do require a little bit of help for a three year old.The set comes beautifully organized. It is most definitely one that is gift worthy. It almost has a little bit of a European toy feel to it.The set comes with a booklet. The booklet has pages that show the builder how to build each item. It shows the finished product and the pieces needed. They are really only one image to show the builds. Honestly though that’s all that’s needed. It’s nothing complicated like a Lego set. It’s much more straightforward than that. Because of this it makes it possible for a younger child.The colors are all very neutral. It almost feels a little more natural that way. The colors are yellow, brown, and a natural wood color.The pieces connect by magnet. The magnets are quite strong and connect quickly. The wooden blocks have a nice weight and feel to them. They are all polished smoothly and some are stained while others are left natural. All the pieces do have a protective clearcoat. They can be wiped down to keep them clean and sanitized.This is a very unique building set. For children who enjoy building like my grandson, this engages that creative part of his brain while working on fine motor development. He really enjoys building Lego and I felt like this would be something with a building aspect to it but a different way of building.One other helpful hint, I went ahead and took the instruction manual apart. Total it’s just two pages front and back. I laminated them so that they would not rip or get ruined. Since Lego books can always be looked up online, these cannot. So, I found it important that the instructions stay in pristine condition.
