Strands of their lives come together into a dramatic denouement...This was a compelling read, set in the Turkey of yesteryear. I couldn't put it down.

Beautiful book. The cover is lovely and evokes exactly the era that the author is writing about. It would make a beautiful gift.This is a classic of Turkish literature and the author handles the subject with such feeling and fitness that he can really be called one of the greatest writers of Turkey. An unforgettable reading experience, the English translation is beautiful and flows like a river. Only the Turkish version could beat it.
