Sturdy and well built

This tow rack is just what I needed. It looks nice, and it’s easy to put together.

I liked how easy it was to use. Believe it or not I mounted it on a 2 X 6 board to use as a rooster for my pullets.

I preface my remarks by letting you know I’ve been a carpenter over 40 years. When I tried to install the metal anchors you’ll see one of them stripped. They were very difficult to get flush to the drywall which is necessary and then in trying to do so, you can see one of them stripped, even though I had drilled pilot holes. The left bracket was able to screw into studs. I would suggest plastic drywall anchors that require a pilot hole would be much easier to install. You will see that I used butterfly bolts which in many ways makes the strongest connection and it’s not that difficult to install. One other suggestion, give us the dimensions center to center for the screws that attach the bar to the wall, both horizontal and vertical.Otherwise, I love this towel bar and you can see I use it for a throw blanket by my chair.
