My 10mo was MEZMORIZED by the drums in her music class so we needed to get her one. This one is sturdy and sounds great both with the mallet and just an open palm. It had a chemical smell when I first opened it but it faded by the next day,CAUTION: The small red piece at the end pops off very easily. I recommend just removing and discarding it when you receive the item to avoid any possible choking hazards. I can imagine how easily it would have come off while my daughter chews on the end of the mallet! So glad I checked!

Pull off the little red endcap of the drumstick before your kid plays with it...my son pulled it off with his mouth but he spit it out. Close one.

These work well as kids drums. They’re sturdy and seem to withstand heavy hands. The overall quality is kind of cheapy, but not terrible.

Better than expected tone.

So much fun and sounds great. Bought it for my 1 year old grandson. Fortunately for me, he loves watching me rock out.

My grand daughter is a year old and she really enjoys this fun toy.

My 2 year old grandson loves the drum. He actually has a rhythm. Only thing is te 2 little red knobs at the end of the drum sticks come off. Choking hazard!! I removed them.

My daughter loves this drum and we do too (for now - the sound hasn't annoyed the crap out of us yet). Simple toy that feels like it will last a while and she can grow with it a bit.
