I am 5'6 and wear M/L. I bought the standard size. It seemed a little big and off in the waist but the corsette finished it off perfectly. It is elegant. The white is see-through but some white tights or stretch pants will look fine. Great buy for the money!

I am very happy with this costume. I do have to add a little top for 'cover up' as I am using this costume for a themed event at work in a few weeks. Overall a well made elegant nice costume.I have a real belt that stretches and really holds you in, and will wear it under the 'belt' that comes with the costume (that one does not actually hold you in), so my belt will actually cinch in my waist. The collar stands up ok, but thinking of adding a sprits of sugar and water to make it (the collar) more starched, so it stays up easily (ironed on very carefully)... but over all a very gorgeous costume. I know I will get lot's of wonderful comments in this outfit at work. Plus I have a very pretty tiara that fits it really well. Oh, you will have to wear a long slip, as the front panel is very see through. I still love it!!!

The media could not be loaded. The costume was very nice! It has a beautiful shimmer and fits well. I bought it for my daughter she's a size 10-12 and this fit her perfectly. It does have a bit of give to it so it could stretch even more. The corset/belt ties on so it isn't stiff like a traditional corset If you're looking for that cinched in look you might have to replace it with a real corset. The front panel that's white with the hearts is see-through so you would either need a slip or leggings. We got a petticoat here off Amazon and it looks beautiful underneath as it gives that skirt the extra poof. There is a knee-length piece of tool underneath the skirt that helps give it a bit of poof as well. So it's not like it just Falls flat .For those shorter ladies it might be a bit long. My daughter is 5 ft 4 and it does touch the ground a bit but I believe a pair of platform shoes will help that. Overall I think it's a great outfit for the price.

Good value for the money. I plan to use this costume in a promo appearance for a summer children's theater performance of "Alice in Wonderland." It is actually of good enough quality, we may use it for the performances as well as the promo. The bustier/corset is not boned, so if you want an hourglass figure, use a "real" corset underneath the costume. The front panel is somewhat see-through, especially with stage lighting, so wear something opaque underneath. The skirt is really, really long, so if you are petite you'll have to do some hemming. I'd recommend this as an all-purpose costume for Halloween, theater, or any other fancy-dress party.

The costume was cute but i returned it due to it not fitting my chest area properly and also the alterations of the dress made me look frumpy.

I really liked this costume. The costume needs work done to it to make it better. You need to buy your own bustier for this costume as previously reviewed by others. The material on the back of the neck line that is supposed to stand up does not. I had a great time wearing this costume and received compliments all evening. The costume fits great, but would not buy if you're larger than a 12/14.

I read many reviews on this before purchasing. Some ladies said they were a size 10 and this fit perfectly.. I'm not sure how that's possible..I'm a perfect 8 and it was tight. I have semi large breast 36D and they were POPPING out!!!! The only complant I would have is that the corset is not actually a corset. It's a piece of cheap material that you place on your torso & then it has 1 string that ties around your back. the lace up front of the corset (gold strings) is all for show.. it's not a real corset. Other than that, it's an awesome costume...but if your bigger than a size 8 or have larger breast I would get a bigger size. :)

This dress is gorgeous. After reading the comments I was a little hesitant to purchase it, but I am so glad that I went ahead and did it. You just can't beat the price for the standard size. When opening it up I was super careful because I read that it was a "glitter factory", not the case for mine at all. None of the glitter came tumbling off. I examined the dress and everything was in place and as it should have been made. The quality is terrific. I placed a black cincher that I already had under the one that was provided, because it did fit a little loose on its own, and it worked wonderfully. After I had it all put together I did not want to take it off. I LOVE this costume and can not wait to wear it with my family's Alice in Wonderland themed costumes next year.

This dress was actually pretty great quality! Much better than expected for the price and arrived the same day I ordered it! Fits size 14 perfectly and very flattering.

I wear a size 8 usually and it fit well (not sure if it would stretch to a 12+...). The skirt is a bit short but I'm 5'11 so that's to be expected. As other people say the "corset" is kind of useless. You tie the straps and they are super long so just kind of odd looking. I actually used a corset I already owned and liked that a lot more. You'll definitely want to iron the collar. I just wore it down because it creased in the package and I hadn't ironed it, and I thought it looked fine. Also, if you have a crinoline to wear under it I think that would be better. Because of the corset and needing a crinoline I'd just give four stars but overall I'm very happy.

Pretty costume, I chose the one size fits all and it fit. The white on the front is completely see through so you may want to purchase a slip (I did) .
