Q: Will this fit my washer? A: This pump is made to fit most pressure washers. To be sure, check these two important measurements. Take a look at your pressure washer engine and shaft, this works with Vertical 7/8" shaft engines. Next take a tape measure to the pump where the bolts go in, measure the distances from each hole to one another and if you come up with 7.750" - 6.250" - 6.500" then this will fit.

Good Replacement Pump
I purchased this pump for a Craftsman pressure washer. Removing three bolts is all it takes to remove the pump. Due to slight differences in the design dimensions, I had to use a few washers to adjust the pump's mounting height by about 1/2". It was a simple process. Once mounted, it has pumped like a champ for several hours now. I prefer the brass hose and high-pressure threaded fittings to the original pump's aluminum. The pump seems well made and though it looks totally different from the original pump, the critical dimensions are the same and it works well. I considered fixing the original pump, but realized after watching a few YouTube how-to videos and reading reviews that there are two main possibilities for pump trouble: the "unloader" and the pump valves. If you replace both, the cost of parts is not far from the cost of a new pump. I didn't want to go through the trouble and aggravation of ordering the wrong parts. For me, this was the right choice. The engines on these washers typically far outlast the pumps, making a new pump a cost effective repair. A couple of pointers I learned in the process: these pumps work constantly, even when the spray trigger is not pulled. An "unloader" valve opens and recirculates high-pressure water inside the pump when not spraying. Since the pump relies on water for cooling, running the engine too long without spraying causes heat buildup and pump damage. Second, change the pump oil every 50 hours with non-detergent 30 wt. oil.

Pressure Pujmp
While it says that it is a universal pump I did have to modify the pump to fit my pressure washer. After the modification it worked very well, it seems to have plenty of pressure and gets the job done. I would purchase this again but with the knowledge that it will most likely have to be modified to fit. Other than this it was a good purchase and worth the money.
