HurttaExtreme Overall, Dog Snowsuit, BlackBerry, 22M

You just can't beat Hurtta for quality of construction, warmth, and fit. I got this overall for my short-haired pitbull for cold weather camping trips when I expected her to be out in the elements for long chunks of time. The same size she wears in the extreme warmer (20) is the size that fit her in this jacket. The fit is fantastic and still allows her to move around. There are also large reflective patches and lines on the jacket that make the jacket visible if a flashlight shines on it.I have not taken this overall outside yet, but it's the same material as the extreme warmer which we HAVE camped with. The material is sturdy and stands up to branches, thorns, etc. It also keeps my dog noticeably much warmer than any other coat on the market. On our last trip, she rolled in something and got her extreme warmer covered in poop. I had to replace it with a fleece and a regular insulated jacket from a cheaper brand. Within a couple hours, she was shivering and growling and overall pretty unhappy. I conclude that the jacket makes an enormous difference over cheaper ones.I'll always stick with Hurtta when conditions will be extra rough!

I live in NE Florida and my 32 lb Cocker Spaniel, Sierra, rides on my motorcycle with me in a sidebox with minimal wind protection. It's a 1610 Pelican case cut in half with a Lexan plexiglass mini-windshield. He's clipped in via harness while riding. In cold weather the harness D-ring goes through the top zipper of his fleece coats (up to 3 layers of them). Now add the Hurtta coat as the outermost layer (the Hurtta has a buttoned opening at the top that matches the openings of the fleece coats exactly).From November thru March here it's usually very cold for him to ride so exposed like that, with wind force penetrating every layer of fleece. That's the main reason I bought the Hurtta coat for him. My own waterproof windbreaker jacket works wonders at cutting down heat loss after forced air went through as many as 6 layers of ordinary fabric while cruising along on my touring Yamaha.I bought the size 20m knowing it would be big for a Cocker, but he's a little overweight and I wanted to leave room for up to 3 fleece coats underneath. Also, some extra length wouldn't have been an issue, since I mainly want the coat on him while he's just sitting in the sidebox.As it turned out, I nailed it. It's exactly the right size "too big." The neck warmer extends ridiculously far over his head (see pics), but I still like it because I can adjust it from a neck warmer to a hood with almost zero effort, and it stays in place just fine.In the pics Sierra looks miffed, but as you can also see I'd just opened the package and he wasn't used to it yet. Having often witnessed him shivering even after 30 minutes of riding before I bought the Hurtta, there's no way he's gonna still look miffed now under the same riding conditions. I can say that with confidence because I noticed him immediately start overheating when I tried the Hurtta on him for our photoshoot on the mild day (about 70 degrees) when I opened the package.The Hurtta coat is definitely well-designed. The material is also high quality. But I would have preferred something more rugged for both the outer layer and the inner foil liner, like the canvas-type material on a Carhartt jacket. There may be no way for Hurtta to make the foil liner itself tougher, but perhaps a nylon layer over it for protection? With stronger material both inside and out, I would have given it 5 stars instead of 4.

We received over 21” of snow this week and got a great opportunity to use this snowsuit. I ordered a 14S for her long body and little legs and it fits perfectly! The sizing chart is very accurate. She stayed warm the whole time and even when she went barreling through the snow, the cinched fit of the suit kept the snow from getting in! We were in the snow for over 4 hours and she didn’t shiver. Well worth the money.

We go on northern country adventures which means we sometimes/often encounter not just sub zero temps but get down to -20 to -30. This snowsuit will allow my furry copilot to safely and comfortably tag along, paired with some long boots, of course. Well designed and well made. Wish the leg openings were easier to size (elastics instead of awkward and difficult snap buttons). That’s it!

We just received Extreme Overall today so haven’t tested it out in the blistering cold and snow yet. I ordered this in addition to the Hurtta Parka that is rated to -20 we purchased earlier in the season. A little over a week ago we were hit with -7 with-30 wind chill. Even with the under all and fleece sweaters layered under her Parka my little Boston Terrier was shivering so hard. After then dressing her in her under all and a polar fleece with legs under her Parka she finally stopped shivering. But with it snowing heavily her fleece and under all of course got wet. So now with the Extreme Overall I believe we are ready for the next freezing cold Blast. It’s beautifully made and seems thicker then the Parka. Her back is 15” and we got her the 14M. And once on it fits well. I was concerned that the legs might be to long for her with the 14M instead of the 14S but they seem perfect. I’ll be able to tell better once she’s out moving around more and running and playing in it. So far I’m thrilled

Nachdem der Overall sowohl bei der ersten Lieferung, als auch bei der Ersatzlieferung von raupenartigen Larven und Larveneiern befallen war (siehe Bilder), wurde die Performance des Marketplace-Anbieters "Mein Tierdiscount" mittels ausführlicher und bebilderter Negativbewertung, sowie telefonischer Beschwerde bei Amazon quittiert (Verkauf und Versand erfolgte durch Marketplace-Anbieter). Zu einer weiteren Ersatzlieferung und einem erhofften guten Ende für KundIn sollte es seitens des Marketplace-Anbieters leider nicht mehr kommen. Vermutlich wollte die Logistik des Marketplace-Anbieters die Beschwerde nicht hinnehmen und setzte stattdessen KundIn unter Druck, eventuell mit dem Ziel, KundIn von weiteren Beschwerden abzuhalten und eine Löschung der Rezension zu erwirken: mit der Behauptung, die Larven seien von KundIn verursacht worden, ließ der Marketplace-Anbieter KundIn bei Amazon als "Unliebsamen Kunden:in" markieren und erteilte KundIn ein "Virtuelles Hausverbot". Die gut erkennbare Gespinstbildung der Larven bildet sich erst nach mehrwöchigem Entwicklungsstadium, womit die Behauptung des Marcetplace-Anbieters "Mein Tierdiscount" widerlegt ist. Da KundIn dies nicht hinnehmen wollte und zu intervenieren versuchte, setzte der Marketplace-Anbieter folgendermaßen nach, möglicherweise mit dem Ziel, KundIn in dieser Sache vollends den Garaus zu machen: KundIn erhielt von Marketplace-Anbieter zwei Bilder aus der Logistik vom Zustand des angeblich retournierten Artikels, auf denen folgendes zu sehen war: Jeweils ein Bildausschnitt eines Artikels gleichen Modells, im Bildbereich stark verschmutzt. Bei dem Schmutz solle es sich um Kot handeln, dies solle von KundIn verursacht worden sein. Da es sich lediglich um einen Bildausschnitt handelt, auf dem weder Etikett noch Größe abgebildet sind, ist es anhand des Bildes für KundIn nicht verifizierbar, ob es sich denn wenigstens um die gleiche Größe wie der retournierte Artikel handeln könnte.Jedoch war das vermutliche Ziel der Logistik des Marketplace-Anbieters erreicht, die negative Rezension wurde entfernt und die Schuld auf KundIn geschoben. Der Leidtragende ist der Hund. Dieser hat jetzt immer noch keinen Winteranzug, und das bei der Kälte.

Der Mantel passt meinem AmStaff gut. Länge 55M trägt er auf dem Bild und ist auch die ermessen Größe.Eine Nr größer als gemessen sitzt an der Brust allerdings doch etwas besser und der Rücken kann dann problemlos angepasst werden. 60M kann auch etwas einfacher angezogen werden.Beide Größen halten super warm (er hat durch einen Gendefekt fast kein Fell am Rücken).Die Aussparungen im Schritt sind bei beiden so bemessen das Urin und Kot nicht im Mäntelchen hängen bleiben. Die Beinweite kann angepasst werden. Alles in allem wurde das Mäntelchen nach 3 Minuten akzeptiert und im Schnee getollt. Ist es jedoch etwas nass spritzt das Wasser durch die Bewegung der Vorderpfoten in die Achseln und durchnässt den Stoff etwas. Das trocknen dauert dann wie erwartet schon in etwa 1 Tag ( ohne Heizung) - die Region sollte nochmals etwas imprägniert werden. Ansonsten ein tolles , etwas teures Produkt, mit dem ich bedenkenlos auch mal weiter im Schnee mit ihm laufen kkann.würde allerdings bei einer breiten Brust 1 Nr größer empfehlen.

Tolles Material,die Druckknöpfe an den Beinen sind mehr wie unpraktisch,weil sie nicht zugehen,mein Labi hat schwere Athrose und ED 3.das Anziehenist mehr wie mühsam,weil sich dieVorderbeine nicht gut abknicken lassen um in den Anzug zu kommen🙊ist er endlich drin ist der Anzug genial

I had trouble finding the right size for my dog from this Hurtta model, but now we cannot be happier with the purchase and all of its advantages. Not only it does the job perfectly, but also looks very cute on my dog :-) Highly recommend!
