Ok, first off, I love the net. It is slightly larger than the square bales we use, and I have a method to fold the excess back toward the other end and clip it with a carabiner. That said, the rope that gathers the top didn't feed well and I added a stainless split ring on every loop and then rethreaded the rope through it. My Shires haynets have those loops and I've retrofitted all my other haynets with them.Second, the big knob that the rope runs through does nothing... If it had friction retainers that would be great. I took it off and just chain-tie the excess rope then clip with the previously mentioned carabiner. The net itself has nice sized holes that slow down my gobblers - saving hay and ensuring they always have something to nibble on.

Study, easy to fill. Nice when two horses are out together for sharing. Can feed them for a day while reducing hay waste.

Working well for my two previously wild mustangs. Will be purchasing a 2nd net.

Fits a whole square bale up to 70 lbs! Has been kicked around, stomped on, dragged and twisted up. Still sturdy, still effective! It keeps my hay neat and my horse always has a place to graze. When filled to capacity, it can last one horse a full 48 hours.

I have several different brands of nets around the barn. Hay Chix are far superior to anything else I have.This full bale net is easy to use. I have taken clips and hung this as wellOnly problem is my 2 horses went through the bale waaaay quicker than anticipated.
