Max K14-Inch Pizza Pan with Handles - Preseasoned Cast Iron Cooking Pan for Baking, Roasting, Frying - Black

Got this pan for my dad for Christmas. Unfortunately, the cooking surface had a big flaw that they tried to patch up with some sort of black putty or thick paint?? It looked awful, and I didn’t want him to use it for fear of whatever chemical or substance it was. It’s a shame because it might have been a decent pan.

Nice pan…great weight. Only thing for the 4 star rating is that the surface is pretty rough so wiping with a paper towel or cloth towel leaves particles behind which is a bit annoying.

I have enjoyed making deep dish pizza in a caste iron pan and it comes out great, so when our "pizza maker" died after one year I decided to order this pan for homemade and frozen pizzas. I have tried stones and pans with holes in them to achieve a crispy crust without success and I didn't want to buy another plug in pizza maker that would just breakdown like the others I have had. The only downside is that this pan is heavy otherwise it is perfect for making crispy pizza. A little oil on the surface and slide that frozen pizza on it and in 25 minutes in the oven you got yourself a decent pizza, no sticking or sogginess in the middle!

Great pizza pan. I may use it to make giant cookies too! Needs to be seasoned, but it will be a great addition to my iron pans once broken in.

The skillet is awesome I would urge anyone and everyone to buy it but it is very rough straight out of the box I would suggest you sand it down and season it a couple of times before use

Only gave 4 stars because it’s not really 14”. It’s only 13”. That might sound insignificant except that I purposely looked for a 14” because Papa Murphy’s pizzas are 14” and these pizzas are amazing smoked in a Traeger. Picture attached.

Really nice pan, heavy enough to keep even heating, but not so heavy that it deters me from using. I made pancakes on it this morning to test the pan and they came out evenly golden. I washed the pan, dried it, oiled and let it sit on low for 10 min before using even though it looked nicely seasoned. I plan on using it for pizza next

I want this product to make roti. But its too heavy and not smooth.

The one I got was only 13" where it shows measured 14" in the picture but they deleted my original review and pictures. Measure yours, if it's falsely advertised get a refund and make a complaint to your regulator.If they have fixed the product and it's 14" as shown then great for you, wish I'd got one of those.
