I HAVE HAD CATS FOR A LONG TIME. THE LARGER ONES "HUNG OUT" OF THEIR LITTER BOXES SOMETIMES WHEN THEY "WENT", WHICH HAD MADE QUITE A MESS ON THE SIDES OF THE BOXES AND THE FLOOR. SO I TRIED THE COVERED BOXES WHICH I THOUGHT WERE JUST THE THING. BUT I FOUND THAT THE CATS WOULDN'T GO IN THEM UNLESS I CLEANED THEM OUT EVERY DAY.....THE TOPS HOLD IN THE ODORS. I FOUND THAT THE 41 QT STORAGE BOX IS PERFECT.

I'm using it as a litter box for two cats, and they no longer miss the box. The bottom isn't totally flat so it's sometimes annoying to clean, but it's not unmanageable at all.

It arrived broken. Luckily it was only the handle part of the lid. It won't lock, but it will still be able to cover the bin. I am intending to use it for a "sensory bin" for my toddler. During this pandemi, I don't want to spend time returning it and waiting for another one.

This is my second one. I use it for a litter box for my 4 cats. One of my cats has only 3 legs and the regular litter boxes are too small. He is also a large feline and needs the room to get situated just right to do his business. The rim is lower and easier to get in and out of for him. It has turned out to be a great litter box and it was just time for a fresh box. I recommend this product for whatever you need it for.

I have no problems with the product but... I got these to try to block off underneath a bed where my one cat likes to hide. I did not realize that the bed frame is such that these would not fully fit under every part of the bed. So keep that in mind if that is what you are trying to do.

these totes a great for clothing storage and fit right under my bed. I love that you can see thru them. i have also used one for a sand/water table for my preschool class the shallowness of the inside is perfect for little arms to reach inside.

Seller is shipping this directly from Walmart, where it is also cheaper. Do not buy it on Amazon, check Walmart's prices first!!Sturdy and durable looking I will be using for under the bed storage and it should hold up well. I like the latches that keep the lid on firmly.

I have another older Rubbermaid Storage Tote just like this one, but original was much sturdier plastic and well made. This design is great, with the latch for the lid, and the ability to see the contents without opening since the plastic is clear. I'd purchase several more if the quality was higher, or the price lower.
