I talked to the teacher after class and she recommended that I either get a non-slip mat
I got a hand me down mat from my mom and brought it to hot yoga. It was really hard for me to stay on the mat. The heat + the sweat + the plastic of the mat made it more of a water slide than a mat. I talked to the teacher after class and she recommended that I either get a non-slip mat, so I did an amazon search and came across this mat. I really like this mat so far. It has a good amount of cushion unlike my old mat and I don't slip at all which was my biggest problem with the other mat. If you sweat like me or are thinking of doing hot yoga, I would highly recommend to dish out the extra cash for a non-slip mat.

High quality yoga mat!
I ordered the pink and purple mat and it arrived within a few days. I opened it and it was so beautiful! It was more so the texture and design. There wasn’t the smell that many yoga mats have. It had this new smell, kind of like when you buy a new car. Later in the week I brought it to my yoga class and I have to say it did its job! Will update more as I use it.

Comfortable and just the right amount of firmness
This mat is very comfortable and just the right amount of firmness. Not too hard nor too soft which is perfect for yoga. It is slip resistant as well, which means it only gets slippery if you get extra sweaty. I also like that is is bpa free and non-toxic. So far it's been perfect for me and I would recommend it to other yoga lovers as well.

I've practiced yoga for 2 years. The reason that I need to buy a new yoga mat is because I moved into an apartment that has wooden floor which made my old mat very slippery on the floor. To prevent injuries when practicing on the mat, I was looking for a yoga mat that is slip-resistant on the wooden floor.And this mat perfectly meets my expectation. It "sticks" to the floor when I push it with my hands. I'd say its quality/price is good. Thus although I'm normally so lazy to leave a comment...I would like to take pictures and leave a comment for this product for other people's reference.

Instructor-Certified Yoga Mat
I'm a yoga instructor at YogaWorks in SF, and I've had issues in the past with flimsy and slippery yoga mats that were WAY more expensive than I think they were worth. I've bought yoga mats that have mostly been similar, so I wasn't expecting much with this Zen Aerobics one.This yoga mat REALLY impressed me when I finally laid it down on my studio floor during one of my classes. Putting my hands and feet on it on this mat for the first time felt like I was laying on a thin Tempur-pedic. Even though it was that comfortable, what surprised me the most was that my feet and hands weren't sliding off like they were with other flimsy yoga mats I've used in the past. More than what I expected, to say the least.As for the seller, the seller shipped it right away, and gave me a confirmation message. Kudos to you!

Wow I love this mat! It’s thicker and more comfortable than other ones I’ve tried before. Not only that but it also absorbs the impact better too. Excellent mat - worth every penny!
I bought this mat as a gift for my wife as her old mat was not of the highest quality. It was one of those things that she kept talking about every time after yoga, but never remembered to actually take care of. After her first use with this mat she said that it completely changed her yoga experience and it was so much more enjoyable since the cushioning and anti-slip work very well. I highly recommend checking this mat out if you are in the market for a new one!

The thing about this mat is that it’s soft on your feet but also grips the surface very well. This grip is important because I do a lot of yoga and really need something in place.
