NICOR Lighting 5/6 inch Adjustable LED Eyeball Retrofit Downlight Kit in 3000K (DEB56-20-120-3K-WH)

We purchased 4 of these in April 2022. 1 of the 4 has failed already. With that said they have a nice design, and are easy to install.

Nice retrofit design, as others have already written in their reviews. The only issue I had was that the springs they came with weren't the same style as the old recessed light fixtures I had, so I had to improvise by swapping the springs from the old ones and mounting them to these new LED lights. Sometimes you need to do a little bit of "fabrication" like that to make things work correctly and it takes a little bit longer to install. Which is of course not the fault of the product I bought. I am very pleased with the quality of these lights, I hope they last a very long time. I suggest you look at a side view of the picture of the product to see if the spring design is the same style as what you have first, before you but these.

Some of the nicest can light trims I've ever installed, and I've installed a lot. The draw back is the price. I've installed and reviewed others and frankly it's hard to justify the additional cost. If you are only putting in a few, or have money to burn, I would highly recommend.

Easy to install and very high quality. This gimbal retrofit is solid, built with metal and not plastic and tight tolerances around the eyeball and that trim. The angle adjustments are easy and smooth and it stays where you put it. I'm confident that they will last a long time and that I won't have to have my electricians out more than once with their 20ft ladders and/or scaffold to replace the gimbals in my greatroom vaulted ceilings. Pay the extra few bucks for a superior product.

Good quality fixture but better prices available elsewhere. I needed 16 and saving $10 per fixture added up so I bought the other 15 elsewhere after ordering one here to check quality.

These lights are as close to a traditional fish-eye as I've seen. They rotate completely around and then gimbal back and forth so you can point them in any direction. They are super easy to install in the already installed can lights.

Looks great. The gimbal is attractive even pivoted, which is not true of so many of these lights from other brands. No noticeable hum or buzz when dimmed.The price is quite high, but if you are only doing a few of them it is definitely worth it.
