Works for left hand or right hand doors.
Some other door levers only work for left hand doors or right hand doors, but this one works for either. The installation is a bit complex but not too bad. It appears very sturdy.

NOT oil rubbed bronze and damaged right out of the box
I received this lever lock brand new (didn't look like refurbished or used) and the finish is already damaged right out of the box. On the lock button the paint is chipped/scratched. Both roses are scuffed. The finish is matte and cheaply thin. I passed one key on the finish and it instantly showed a scratch. I can't imagine after few years of use of bad this lock is gonna look.The finish is absolutely NOT oil rubbed bronze. 90% of my handles at home are oil rubbed bronze and this Master Lock has a completely different finish. It's almost flat black (with a tiny tint of copper). I actually though it was flat black at first, it's only by putting the lock next to my flat black ball hinges that I saw the tiny tint of copper. Otherwise I would have swear it was flat black.On a positive note, this grade 2 lock is really heavy duty. It's heavy weight and it's looks rock solid. In comparison to other levers I own (grade 1 and grade 2 lever locks - from another manufacturer) the design and quality build are similar. I do say similar because this Master Lock lever has a few plastic parts where it should have metal parts for strength and durability. And of course as I already stated the finish on this Master Lock is super cheap (scratch super easily).The price is so that excellent that if you don't care for the cheap finish I strongly recommend this lock. You could use it for a warehouse as an example. Or for a storeroom at office. But if you do care for the durability of the finish and/or you're looking for real oil rubbed bronze finish DO NOT buy this lock.
