Lion Brand Yarn 400-5-1507 Crochet Hook, Size P-15, 10mm I purchased this hook to use with plarn to make mats for the homeless as a service project. The length of the hook is comfortable and the plarn does not get caught on the seams other hooks sometimes have. Good quality and easy to use.

It took a while for it to arrive which was odd, but it's great--light, smooth, and a lovely pink color. Love working w/it. Made a scarf w/chunky lion yarn [same brand as crochet hook] in 2 days!

I purchased this product for my own use, and I’ve found it to be a great product. Size, fit, quality and the whole mess is top notch. I have to admit I was a little hesitant at first, given the price, but after opening the box I immediately realized I had made a good purchase. I can imagine using this item for a long time, and should I need another I’ll likely buy one just like this.

I used this to make a large blanket and it worked perfectly!

The Lion Brand Hooks are made of plastic, which allows the yarn to simply glide off the hook and that's great, but they are also considerably short (approx 5") when compared to the Susan Bates Crochet Hooks: Silvalume Aluminum 5-1/2" Crochet Hook: Size 'N 15 or the Bamboo Crochet hooks. I actually prefer the shorter lengths with the larger hooks, such as the Lion Brand 15mm hook: Lion Brand Yarn 15mm Crochet Hook, Size Q-19 and the lightweight plastic on the Lion Brand 19mm hook. Crochet Hook-S-35 However, the short length on the 10mm hook feels a bit awkward. Though I think it might make a great hook for children. The other disappointment is the hook shown in the picture for this product is the P15 11.50mm in Seafoam Green, though the description does accurately describe the size. It appears that the P15 11.50mm hook has been discontinued or replaced by the P15 10mm hook, so IMO it should not appear in pictures or in descriptions as the 10mm hook if it isn't being sold.

Easy to use. Comfortable....and it's freaking PINK. What's not to like?

The yarn doesn't slip off the hook easily so I can work at a fast pace. However shipping wasn't so great! It took past the deadline and I ended up purchasing another one so that I could start my project.

A good price. What can you say about a plastic crochet hook? It was easy to work with-no rough spots on the item. Would buy another one if I lost it.
