Overall this is a great speaker. I do wish it was louder but I love my music loud.

it is a nice sturdy little speaker but the plug over the usb port access will not fit back in. Diminishes water resistance and its value to me.

Didn't work from day 1. Kept switching off, so music reverted back to iPhone.

I have been pleasantly surpirsed by this little speaker. It gets pretty loud for its size. To give a good idea for how loud it gets, I can just barely hear music just fine in the shower if this is sitting right outside of it (spoken word, i.e. a podcast, is a little difficult to hear over the water, but not impossible).The speaker has some funny quirks that my kids love. When you turn it it on it says, "Hello" in a very thick accent and "Goodbye" when you turn it off and "Ok" when it connects, etc. It's a nice notification and a little fun. While this is a little silly, it does feel like it was done well and with some thought, not just slapped on at the end.The description says it's "protected from wet environment". I'm not sure what that means, so haven't really tried to get it wet or use it in the shower or anyting. The green cover does have a tab that inserts into the charging port covering it completely, so there may be some level of water protection there.There is an led that indicates when the charger is plugged in or not.I actually really like this little speaker and feel confident recommending it. It is definitley in the "cheap bluetooth speaker" category and as long as your expectations are appropriate, I don't think this will dissapoint.I received this prodcut at a discount or for free in exchange for an honest, unbiased review.
