if you are looking for a girdle, you are in the wrong place. These "shorts" are smoothing and I wear them under dresses for both modesty and smoothing. It's like wearing control top pantyhose, without the hose.I have two pair, the beige and the white. they're perfect under a summer dress because they are lightweight, flattering and best of all, they stay put. the legs and the waist do not roll.At less than $7 each, they're a bargain

I've worn nothing but Vanity Fair bras for years because they're the only ones that seem to actually do what bras are supposed to do. So when I needed a no-show undergarment for underneath shorter dresses, this was at the top of my list-- and for only $7! But I really should have known better. My waist is 28", and my hips are 42". Finding pants of any kind has always been a struggle-- and while these fit just fine in the leg (very soft, slippery feel so your clothes don't bunch up,) they hit a point in the waist where they started to dig in, and then roll down. The last thing you want to do while wearing a dress is flip up the skirt and straighten things out! So this is going back. I think a wider waistband would fix the issue. If you're not built curvy and need something under dresses, this is for you.

Material is soft and stretches well. 4 out of 5 star since I don't know how it will stand to wear and wash.

My review is late. I received the product in February along with Betsena brand of the same product and was using those shorts for a few months. But last weekend I couldn't locate them and grabbed this still packaged shorts. And God did I regret not trying to wear them earlier, at least then, I'd be able to return. I wore a simple dress and the sorts kept rolling up ALL THE TIME. I had to pull them down constantly and it was a major inconvenience. Add to this severe rush, that developed on the 2nd day. I will continue to use Betsena brand and will buy more, they work perfect! This review is just so people are aware of my experience and make their own judgment. And I'm not a big girl, just curvy with thicker thighs...

A lot of reviews had me second guessing my purchase because people were using it for mainly a slip cover for under their dresses & pants, or making it seem like it was a panty hoes material, therefore see threw and rips easily.I wanted to buy these because I was looking for woman's cycling short to wear around the house or run errands outside, made from a mix of nylon and spandex. (Perfect athletic material) They arrived really quickly and super soft, thick enough material that they won rip by being poked or pulled too hard and they seem squat proof thus far. I ordered the nude and black color.

These are junk. Poorly designed. They offer no control and offer no support whatsoever. There is no stomach panel. The material is basically nylons with huge thickly seamed bands that bulge at the thigh. Don’t bother with this. Just cut the legs off your old nylons and hold them up with elastics- it will be the same effect.

I am 170 pounds and typically a size large. I thought it I bought a medium it would be a little tight and get the job done. Unfortunately the medium was still too big on me. The quality of the product is very good though, so I will be buying a small in the future.
