This attaches to an existing rail to extern the rail as needed.
This allewed me to fit a scope to a rifle with the rail stopped too far forward. Making it possible to get proper eye relief and it works really well. Its made from sturdy aluminum with a black nitride finish.It also adds about 1 inch of height. Allowing shorter scope rings to be used .

Weak bolt
The over all construction of this rail was good. Its flaw is the half-cut cinch bolt. It snapped at the threads with very little torque. luckily, I had a bolt from another rail that I was able to use, otherwise this one would have been useless. I realize this is an inexpensive rail, but it should be capable of being reasonably tighten and not breaking. The one I received may have been able to hold a Nerf optic, maybe,,, but never an actual firearm optic.

Sturdy and true
Excellent way to extend a compact rail. I bought mine to extend the rail on an SKS in order to mount up a sight and flip magnifier. Plenty of space and very sturdy. I now need to put it through its paces to ensure it does not loosen up but so far I am very pleased and happy with the purchase.

Do NOT buy this garbage
The extended pic rail is NOT supported and machined with no support extremely thin .this is NOT acceptable .I'm a machinist and I'm adamant this is NOT acceptableWill break and bend with no force

Might work well for airsoft
Very easy to install. But made with very cheap materials. Mounting screw broke off with less than 25in lb. Not sure why that alignment pin is not round (appears to be built that way?). Don’t expect much and you’ll be satisfied.
