I ordered it for a friend for her yard work. She loves it. She's about 150 # and 75 years old. It's hard for her to get up and down and cannot get off the ground if she sits on the grass. It is light enough to carry around, the setting is perfect for bending over and weeding or planting. The back provides a support for her back and for standing up. When standing, she turns sideways, placing her hand on the back of the chair and supports herself as she rises. It does not tip or get unbalanced. It is a very sturdy metal, with a comfort fit seat and back. The rubber on the legs prevents scratches on floors. She uses it when weeding, trimming her plants and very low hanging branches on bushes or trees.

These are great little chairs. They are very good quality with a nice weight to keep them from tipping over. The last a long time because they are adjustable. They are nice and wide with a very supportive back.

Assembly was fairly easy. Chair is sturdy. Works well for a child’s desk. Adjustable height makes it easier for the chair to be used in multiple locations with different surface heights.

I had gotten the similar style and color chair that came with the desk & chair kit was great until the chair collapsed and was not able to extend its height anymore. This chair was a big improvement because the chair now extends and is screwed into place on the legs so it no longer collapses. We love this chair now, it is far more sturdy and will last until our 6-year-old soon grows out of it.

The instructions gave picture of each item with an letter but the item doesn’t have the letter on it to match it up, so you’re basically looking at the picture and trying to match the part with the picture instead of the part having the letters on them to match the part, it would have made it a lot easier if the part had the letters on them

I was looking for a chair without wheels for my kid’s table, this product was the only one I liked and I still love it, my kid sits comfortably and safely, color matches the table and furniture in the room. easy to assemble and not heavy.

Warning! Read the other reviews and look at the videos. The chair locking mechanism is unsafe. When my child pulls the chair out from under the desk, the mechanism unlocks and when child tries to lock it back into place, one side is not locked. An adult would have to test it to ensure that it is locked every single time. Every time you adjust it, the quality of the mechanism gets worse. When adjusting the locking mechanism, it appears that it is locked into place and there are times when the seat falls back down to the lowest setting. This can cause injury. We also noticed that while sitting in the seat, if you reach over just a little bit, the chair will tip over backwards. This has happened so many times and today my child was injured. This seat is made for children, it should be recalled. We are past the Amazon return date therefore customer service was unable to help me with a refund. We've tried to fix this chair too many times to avoid returning it but we really should've returned it right away. My child refuses to sit on this chair at the desk.

We had this same chair from a different manufacturer which did have the locking mechanism that other reviews reference. It was bad and one side broke like many others said. The one I received now screws in place as shown in the photos. It's not a simple adjustment anymore by lifting the chair however you can still adjust by removing the bolts and screwing them back in. This is extremely solid and will NOT fail now. So I think they fixed the design of the chair and it is perfect now! Don't be afraid of the negative reviews talking about the poor locking mechanism anymore.
