The lights work exactly as you would expect. They look nice but are not as bright as lights you would plug in. What we love about these is the timer. When you turn it on it stays lit for 6 hours, turns off for 18, then repeats. This is extremely nice when the lights are used outside. Who wants to go turn them off before bed. We like lights and recommend to others. Happy holidays.

We ordered two sets of these light last year and used them on two large bushes near our front door. Very pretty and so easy to use since the batteries were timers that would turn them on at a set time, let them run for 6 hours and turn them off for 18 hours before turning them back on. Once you turned them on at the time you wanted them on, they would run for the next 6 hours and turn back on the same time the next day. Very nice to have these pretty lights be automatic. I just ordered another set for another smaller bush in the front yard. 300 lights in each set makes a nice light to decorate our home.

Edit: December 14, 2020: noticed the lights flickering/flashing crazy fast, tried to cycle through the other lighting options and all of them were strobe like. Changed batteries, same issue, lights no longer came on, on their own and once able to get them on, just crazy flickering, no speeds or different light settings.Super lightweight-yet durable! We are so happy to have outdoor Christmas lights that don't require an outdoor outlet or an ugly extension cord!We are so excited that they automatically are on for 6 hours and off for 18. There are so many beautiful light settings. Can't wait to choose our favorite! ✨🌟

Love these white twinkle lights ! Although there are 8 settings I like when they are just on all the time. It only requires 3 AA batteries abs very easy to use. Very happy w the quality . I doubled it went back from one side to the other to get the lights even closer together. May order a second pack to layer a third and fourth time

This year we had to have our Christmas tree in a spot with no outlet near by. I bought these hoping to solve that problem!For the most part they worked perfectly. I will say that once ornaments were added to the tree, the lights appeared very very dim. For that reason I’ve taken off a star.Otherwise I am quite happy with how they worked!I did start at the very top of the tree and ran my lights around and down from there. The opposite of what I normally do.The reason behind this was so I could easily access the batteries in the power box. I set it on the inside of one of the bottom branches of my tree and it worked perfectly!The batteries lasted about 2-3weeks with the timer feature enabled - on for 6hrs/day. I changed twice while having my tree up.

These lights are great. We have no outdoor power source so we needed something battery powered.They look good and the timer function is so low maintenance. They turn on and off by themselves. I hung them, turned them on once and that’s it. Now they turn on for 6 hours and off for 18 everyday.

Bought 2 strings - they are both DIM, so dim I would never have purchased them. Timer does not work on one string. I don't normally write reviews but want to save someone else from making the same mistake.

Our house is really old and for some reason we don’t have any outside outlets so we’ve never been able to hang up Christmas lights. I was honestly so happy that I could finally hang up some lights for the first time since we purchased our home! These are set on an automatic timer and I don’t have to worry about turning them on/off. I’m going to purchase more so that I can decorate the rest of the house.

If your Christmas tree is in the perfect spot but there isnt any plug outlet nearby, then get these battery-operated lights! One strand of lights does the job on a 7-ft slim tree and only requires 3 x AA batteries. It has 8 modes, the twinkle mode is the prettiest! Also has 6 hr function.

With COVID I wanted to upgrade my outdoor space. These lights are a perfect compliment to the area. Easy to setup, the timer works great, and the lights are perfect. Brings light to the space but not overwhelming. Great for the value and absolutely recommend.

Safe your money, on this item. It worked and then the timer stop to work and the light is very low, change the batteries and still nothing, I contacted the seller without any answer. Now, it is useless and not a good deal either.

These lights work well and give off great light.
