I purchased this last year for my cat. I was looking for a food dish that is raised but not a bowl; all the other raised feeding stations are used with bowls. My cat took to it right away. I was so happy with it that I bought another one for water. (Plus, if I break it, I have a back up.) The pedestal is hollow so it's very light. It's also very easy to clean. I hand wash it after each meal with soap and warm water. The 6" diameter accomodates a lot of food. A whole 5.5 oz can would easily fit with a room to spare. My cat weighs almost 6lb and the 5.25" height is perfect; she can sit or stand while she eats. I was worried that she was not eating well due to arthritis pain (she is 18); I think she is much more comfortable now.Yes, it is true that cats in the wild don't have such thing as raised dish in their golden years, but they are lucky if they live to be 5! Yes, it is also true that the dish is a bit on a pricy side, but if you can buy your pet a comfortable meal time (which is very important for them) with just $38, why not?

I purchased these mainly because I wanted to seperate my two cats when eating. They are a very pretty blue with a nice lip edge that keeps the food in the dish and not on the floor. They are sturdy and have not tipped over or even moved when the cats eat. They are also very easy to keep clean. Glad I splurged on these items.

I like these reviews because you can share how much you love the purchase you made. I give these dishes 10 stars. The dish is perfectly made. I love everything about it. This wet food dish is wider than the dry food dish, and it's easier for both my cats to eat out of. The height is perfect. They can sit or stand comfortably and eat from the bowl without stooping over to eat anymore. The bowl is lightweight and not clunky. I like how the bottom is hollow because it makes it lighter and easier to carry from the base or even holding from underneath. Personally, I wouldn't put this in the dishwasher, it's easy to wash and dry fast. I bought 4 of the dry dishes and 4 of the wet dishes in blue and eggshell. It's always good to have extra. These bowls exceeded my expectations and more; it's worth every dollar spent. I recently bought wooden feeders for my dogs and cats and wasn't happy with the size and how it took up too much space. I wish I had found these Classy Cat bowls first!

I love this because it allows my big bulky cat to eat his wet food without straining his neck. I am glad I bought it and it was worth the money.
