Riviera: Season 3

Oh Yes! A whopping great 5 stars for this outrageous OTT series (serial). I haven't enjoyed a show as much as this crazy mind blowing excursion into plot madness! Sorry! That's a bit OTT in itself. The fact is my wife and I enjoyed this 8 episode show so much we watched it in two sittings. Filmed on glorious (and expensive) locations - Venice/Saint Tropez/Buenos Aires with a multi national cast led by Julia Stiles on top form and partnered up with our own Rupert Graves also on top form (what a team - more to come I hope). The plot is labyrinthine and can be hard to follow and it's not without it's improbabilities, but stay with it and you get a beginning and a satisfactory end. WARNING if you find subtitles (which are good) difficult - you do need them as the last few eps do feature a lot of the characters speaking Spanish and the subs are important and are embedded on the film. I can see opinions differ...but honestly I haven't loved a show as much as this for ages. I just never knew what would happen next. By the bye ..If you are a leg man...Poppy Delevigne will give hours of pleasure, so to speak. No offence intended.

Not as good as season 1 and 2 but just as watchable. A must see for those who have seen the previous seasons to see how the story pans out.

I love Julia Stiles and this is such an amazing tv series, so suspenseful and action packed i own all seasons on blu-ray now, i’d give it more than 5 stars if i could, amazing picture quality and sound, artwork is fab and a bonus slipcover too as seen above...extremely happy. highly recommended.

good series

Preposterous storylines but fabulous globetrotting fun. I want to see glamorous shows like this as an antidote to 'kitchen sink', dour police procedurals, the mainstay of terrestrial television. Looking forward to Season 4, will rerun the others in the meantime.

Great scenes and settings, great cast.

After waiting for the third season to come out in dvd my wife was not disappointed and really enjoyed it. Now she is hoping that there will be another season.

I enjoyed the first 2 series but not this one so much if they make a 4th I’ll give it a miss
