DC Collectibles Justice League: The Flash Action Figure

Great new design

My grandson loves it. $20 seems a lot for an action figure, but it's very well-made and looks life-like. He plays with it a lot. The ear "wings" broke off within a few days, but that should be expected with kids playing with it. I think it's meant to be a collectible. But he paid for it with his own money, so he gets to play with it! :-)

The Flash action figure looks really awesome but it is only for posing and not really for kids to play with and so I fully expect this toy to break at the hands of my 4 yr old son someday. The articulation is lacking, there is no wrist movement, no waste movement or 360 arm twisting. without risk of breaking the arm. The flash ear tips are pretty sharp and will poke your fingertips if you are not careful. Still, the size of it being 6.75 inches. i really dig the look of the Flash here and I think this is by far the best action figure of him out there. Just keep in mind that he does not have a lot of mobility like Superman and Batman figures do.

The Flash is one of my favorite characters and this figure is a good one. The colors are brilliant, the raised logo is a nice addition, and it doesn't have the stupid yellow lines all over his costume like the DC Comics Unlimited version does. And that face. Only Barry Allen could have such a goofy expression; I love it! But it's not as bad as some online photos would make you believe. It grows on you. I like Barry best as the Flash as he is the one I grew up with in the seventies and eighties. Oh, be careful of those little wing things on his ears; they are sharp! You could open a can of tuna with them. I realize this review actually sounds kind of mixed, but I don't mean for it to. I highly recommend it!

Great purchase, arrived in a timely fashion before christmas. Excellent seller, would buy from again and recommend this seller to anyone looking. Only thing is you have to watch out for his lightning bolts on his head, when trying to turn his head for posing they are rather shard and the one on the right side did actually break off at one point. Not that big a deal we glued it right back on and can't tell that it ever came off.

Flash was exactly what my son wanted. Those lightening bolt by his head broke within hours and we cannot find it to maybe glue it back on. They are super sharp anyway. My son is 5. I wouldn't suggest for a younger child. Other than the breaking off by his head, it is good.

As a teenager back in the 90's, I was a huge fan of the Flash TV show. All of my shirts were red and the ones that were not, I dyed them red. With some of the shirts, I was able to sew in shoulder pads and other padded material that my grandma had laying about. My grandma would get pretty angry at me ruining the washing machine. I made "kid flash" outfits for her shih tzu dog as well. Apparently, the one that she had set asside for the Martin Luther King Day parade was ruined since she had a complimentary outfit as Rosa Parks. To this day, she has not let me live it down. It's something that I simply do not understand since grandma is Whiter than "typical" white folk.Fast forward a few years, I am still living with my grandma, her dog "Big Rapa" remains alive for some nature-defying reason and I am still a die-hard Flash fan.I have been looking forward to this new Flash figure ever since I became aware of him in the rebooted, relaunch, restart, or whatever it is they try to reinvent but never last in the 52 comics. I sometimes get frustrated with change, but I try to be loyal to what or wherever the Flash goes even though I long for the prime days of Flash from the tv show to return.Every other Wednesday my grandma will take me to the comic book store because it is next door to the state office where she picks up her social security checks that she cashes at the local native american casino so she can play bingo.Last Wednesday, she had to stop at the liquor store and just dropped me off instead of waiting in her car for two hours like she normally does. Big Rapa and her will usually listen to Sean Hannity on the radio (I'm not really a fan of him because he is a conservative and I think the government should be responsible for us.)When I got inside the comic book store I asked the store owner if the new Flash figure arrived. He said that it did not, but he knew a guy who knew a guy who might have the figure, but he couldn't make any promises. I told him I needed to at least find out.So, the store owner told me to wait by the counter and then he went into the back room. Thirty minutes later, he came out with a small piece of paper with a time and address.After spending an hour trying to wake my half drunk grandma up at two in the morning, I was able to get her to drive me to the written location in hopes of getting the Flash figure. As it turns out, the guy was selling figures from a station wagon behind an abandoned KMart.This figure really looked promising in the pictures, but failed to deliver on that promise.I do not expect the Flash to have a bunch of accessories, but a stand would of been nice. This figure will not stand unless you bend a knee and both legs in such an akward position, that it looks like he is constipated. A feeling and position that I am not unfamiliar with after eating my grandma's fried spam, graham cracker and pineapple meatloaf.

My buddy bought this figure and the SUPERMAN one separately. He didn't think the whole set was worth getting. He like them so much that he decided to get the whole set and he gave me these 2 as a gift. Even thou these didn't cost me a penny I gotta say the detail on these figures are AWSOME. Your better off getting the whole set and save on money.

Amazing figure by DC collectibles , I really wanted a flash figure , him being my favourite superhero , I thought of buying the cw show figure , but his action figure lookes way too skinny , then I saw this one , this was perfect , although the articulation could have been a bit better but it still is amazing , awesome paintjob too , just get it , P.S I know his face looks a bit funny in the picture but believe me it looks a lot better personally , just go for it

I received New 52 Flash figure, The shipping was fast but when I opened it, it had terrible paint job. It's missing right ear yellow painting so I had to paint it myself. Buy this figure in person to check the paint job. Mine had little red paint dots all over on his chest symbol and on his face. When you buying it online it is ultimately depends on person who ships it to you which is quite a risk. Stay away from buying online. I would return it if I didn't open the package.This figure is not worth $30 including tax.

Awsome figure love it ....

Bought this for my 3-year old nephew who actually wanted a "Red Flash" instead of the "Brown Flash" (from the popular TV Series) that I got him previously. This is 100% comic-accurate and the primary colors are easy on the eyes for young ones. Good finishing overall. Plus, it comes with the added advantage of being capable of breaking apart in the hands of toddlers.
