I write documents that require sophisticated headings and page numbering, indexing and excellent spelling and grammar capabilities, importing date and graphic from other applications. At the same time I will avoid the cloud and ridiculous subscription fees, i.e., Microsoft as much as possible. I was unable to install my office 10 in my new computer. Over the past year I have tried all the Ms Office alternatives and found them to be quite adequate alternatives if you do not need sophisticated editing and formatting. Each has pluses and each has minuses but none are as complete as MS Office 10. Eventually I reverted to and old copy of Office 2003. I finally purchased office 2021 and Apache at the same time. After using Office 2021 for 20 minutes, I gave up frustrated and returned to Office 2003. MS has stripped many feature from the products that do not use the cloud so we are forced into their money pit. (And it will not auto save except to your cloud account!) Then I remembered Apache. What a difference. The interface is elegant and easy to use. It has all the feature I need and far more than MS 2021. Apache is way ahead of 2021; it does everything the MS product does but easier and does more. The Help is an integral part of the program, no need to be referred to the user internet support group as with MS. It is in fact a complete user manual. For 20 buck it is worth the try and you will be surprised.

LIKES: Low Price. Excellent, competitive features that closely match the dominant office suites on the market. Simple, straightforward use. A very attractive, clean, open-source application that avoids the expensive yearly subscriptions, the privacy issues, and the hidebound folderol of Big Tech companies. CONS: For the whole package, for the low price: NONE. Buy this to replace an expensive yearly subscription to a closed-sourced application. It's worth a shot.

The product is thin plastic. It is a thin plastic piece that doesn't work. It will not go into your SD card slot it slips and doesn't have a snug fit. It is junk and it makes me want to get every penny back. Do not buy this! It doesn't work.

Was a flimsy plastic flash drive. When I went to insert it, it broke.

It opens most word/excel docs and looks close enough to those products that the learning curve is small. Really like the price and the option to 'not use microsoft'. It's a good alternative and cost effective. I reccommend it.

When my MIcrosoft Office suite subscription expired I couldn't afford the program again. I have been using free Libre Office Writer. It works okay but many of my old documents are in Word so I am happy to have the program to bring those backSometimes someone sends me a document that is in Word and now I can open it easily. So far, I haven't figured out how to use it for other types of documents like spread sheets and Excel. At this time the only type of document I use is Word so that is all I need.
