Aunt Lydia'S Classic Crochet Thread Size 10-Peacock

I am using the thread doubled for this project. The dark turquoise color is so hard to find; Aunt Lydia's has the best selection of bright colors and the price can't be beat. The thread is durable and shiny but not slippery on my hook. I do plan to buy more in the future.

I needed more of this particular color of Aunt Lydia's #10 crochet cotton to finish a leash I was weaving for my dog. This vendor had the exact color and at a very reasonable price. Also it arrived very quickly. I gave 3 stars for softness because Aunt Lydia's is a tightly wound fiber that is not meant to be soft. Rather it has some body to it, which is one of the reasons it was right for my project

Aunt Lydia's Classic 10 is my "go to" crochet thread, and this "Peacock" color is gorgeous, even more intense than the photo. I've already done one doily with it and have plans for several more. The quality of this thread is consistent with other Aunt Lydia's Classic 10 colors (sometimes there can be differences ... ). No complaints at all. Will continue to purchase and use Aunt Lydia's as long as I can still crochet. Love it!

I love the color and the texture. I wish I could get it by a case, at $1.59 to $1.99. That would be so so nice!

I like this thread. The color is vibrant without being obnoxious. It is more blue than green like the color currently being called marine or sometimes jade. It has plenty of sheen and works up nicely as long as I wear my magnifying glasses ;)
