Lenovo 2022 IdeaPad 1 Laptop, 14" Anti-Glare Display, Intel Quad-Core Processor, Intel UHD Graphics, 4GB RAM, 256GB PCIe SSD, Windows 11 + Microfiber Cloth

I am pleased with the ease of using the laptop but getting it hooked up to WIFI was a nightmare which took me hours each day for 3 days. I am 75 years old and have no family or friends to help me. I had the Geek Squad take everything off my old computer and install it on this one but they were no help with setting up the wifi. I was sent to INDIA several times and was disconnected 2 times. The cons of the computer age are sometimes not worth all that it avails. I finally had to call Verizon because the GEEK SQUAD was no help. Verion Fios Agent was very helpful and got me through it. However, this is beside the point. The laptop works great and is not much different than windows 7 which I just got rid of, so anything is great in comparison.

My last laptop had a much higher price tag. I didn't have that kind of cash to replace it when the motherboard had issues. This one was reasonably priced and will meet my current needs. I couldn't run my Silhouette machine without a laptop so this is the one I chose. It's taking a bit to get used to but I'm liking it now after 2 days. First day was a bit frustrating as I am a very low tech person and had to figure out what I had to do to get rid of windows S and be able to use the programs I needed. Looking back it wasn't that hard but it was stressful! The Lenovo my son bought lasted all through his college years and is now being used by his sister. My last laptop lasted close to 9 years so looking forward to a long term relationship with this new addition to our family.

The screen is too light for me, I do flatten out the screen some and that makes it somewhat brighter. For the past 8 years, I've had a chromebook and loved it. The past few month, every time I go to any web site to log in, then they send me a code to make sure it is me...finally got a little tired of that.But this regular laptop has windows, the new one at that and I don't understand a lot of terminology...it is heck when I log on in the morning and can't figure out how to get online, and some of the new things...yuck!

I bought the following laptop in April of 2021: "2021 Newest Lenovo IdeaPad 3 15.6" FHD Non-Touch Laptop, Intel Dual-Core i3-1005G1 Up to 3.4GHz (Beats i5-7200u), 12GB DDR4 RAM, 256GB PCI-e SSD, Webc"Initially I loved how lightweight and streamlined it was, compared to my last Lenovo laptop. It was also very quick to respond as I surfed the net. However, things went downhill pretty quickly. I began to get blue screens when I tried to boot up the laptop. It would say that there was some kind of error and it would go into repair mode. Over and over and over again. It is now September of 2021 (a mere 5 months after the purchase date) and I have already had to pay for a visit to our local PC repair shop where they had to re-install Windows. That fixed things for about a month but then the same problems started up again. The laptop currently goes into loops of blue screens and doesn't even open Windows. I sit here writing this review on my old dinosaur of a Lenovo laptop which, sadly, now works better than my brand new laptop (which actually doesn't work at all since it goes straight to blue screens whenever I try to boot it up). I sent an email to Oydisen Electronics, the sellers that I bought from, about 7 days ago and have received no response. Oydisen Electronics, if you are reading this review, please contact me and I will consider adjusting the review accordingly. Otherwise, I would advise others to stay away from this seller if they aren't willing to back the products they sell.

I purchased this laptop in 2021. I'm writing this review in 2023, on the very same laptop. It's still running like new. I was even able to play the base version of The Sims 4 on it a few times after downloading the game from steam. This machine is solid.

It's very lightweight but tough enough to put up with my constant moving around. The screen is crisp and clear. The harddrive is larger enough to store my graphics and artwork. There's plenty of RAM to open several high powered programs at the same time. I use this computer for my artwork so I don't really play games on it but the system is very reliable and I bet it could handle gaming as well as it does my graphic design work. I'm so glad I spent the money on such a well developed laptop. It's worth twice what I spent.

Very happy with this laptop. Came very quickly. Easy to set up and get running. I'm no computer expert, but had no difficulty getting up to speed. Screen very crispk with good definition. Would definitely buy again.
