I have rearranged my life and have decided to live simple.Recently I gave up a 2600 square foot house to live in a cottage, that is just under 300 square feet.i got rid of all my furniture and just have a super comfy chair that faces my huge flatscreen. The only issue is that I wanted to kick my feet up.Well this was the solution, this storage ottoman was such a good price and offered storage and looks great in my small space.I can now kick my feet up and watch my favorite programs on Roku.. Living the super simple, stress free life, 90% reduction in my monthly bills.What does this have to do with an ottoman.. Well, I would never have, years ago, been thankful for such small things. I lived what I now recognize was a wasteful lifestyle. So now I focus on having just what I need and do go overboard. This ottoman fits the bill and for what the charge for this thing, its peanuts!Is it the quality of Ethan Allen? Of course not, nor does it need to be.If you are considering this piece, go ahead, it will work just fine.Regards,Chris

This was a little small for my large sofa. I actually could have used two of these. It does hold a good amount of toys. It's good storage for throw pillows or a blanket. I'll probably use this with my accent chair. It has held well against a rough two year old!

I was going to wait a day or two for my temper to cool off, but what the heck, I think I'll just give you all a review just after receiving it. Sorry if its too raw.1. Color of the fake leather: Dark brown and true to the photos. Its really thin so its just about the poorest quality there is. 0 of 5 stars2. Stitching: So far, I am freaking amazed to only find 3 long threads loose that I cut. Still, you only get 0 of 5 stars.3. Padding on top: Some have said its too much, but if you are putting your feet on it, its just right. If you are sitting on it, it sucks. Since I am putting my feet on it, 5 of 5 stars.4. Packaging: Absolutely the worst (I am really holding back) packaging ever. Whoever did this, (erased a whole bunch) wasn't very sharp. They wood feet were in a box which was covered with Styrofoam, and left to bounce around the inside until the Styrofoam turned in to powder all over the inside of the unit. Suffice to say it was a royal pain in the hind end to clean up. -10 of 5 stars5) Quality of the Fake Leather: You know, when I buy something, I dont want a factory second. Thats what this is, there is a gash on the fake leather and someone has used a magic marker to try and hide it. So, for selling a factory second and not putting that in the description you get -50 out of 5.6) Lid mechanism. It sucks, doesn't stay open, and is useless. -5 out of 5.Photos below.

The bad news was, the was too short for a regular size couch ottoman. It ended up not being tall enough to be level with my couch. I can't complain though because the measurements are probably correct. Also, the storage capacity is lessened by the lid. The lid is very solid so there is no additional space for blankets except the bottom tray. It holds est. 2 thick blankets or a not to fluffy comforter. The good part is it feels very well made. The cushion top is very firm so using it as coffee table is easy. And the lid has a resistance which holds it open and keeps it from slamming shut.

You pay for what you get. Material is not super nice and you can’t sit on it. Only holds about 50 lbs. but it looks really nice if you’re not studying it up close and does the job as far as resting your feet on top of it. The extra storage is amazing

I’m happy with the ottoman. I wish it was a little bit bigger. But overall it was a good deal. Easy to install the legs. Wasn’t too heavy to get inside the house by myself either. The mail lady offered to help me but I got it in just fine alone. She dropped it off to my doorstep.

For the amount I spent, this ottoman kicked it out of the ballpark.-Overall Quality: The faux leather is very very good looking. The color, the pattern, the sheen all look like the real thing.- Ease of use: The opening mechanism is very smooth allowing easy open and close. I fit three large blankets into the storage- Ease of Assembly: There is nothing to assemble really. Unlike IKEA furniture, this comes almost 100% pre-built. All you need to do is to screw on the 4 wood legs.- Packing quality: Superb. Small footprint but very well packed. A tad tough to get out of the box.IN SHORT: Functions as intended, looks good and very easy to assemble. For $69, it is a slam dunk.
