A Lifesaver for Kids with Sensory Needs
The Promax Sensory Chew Necklaces have been a wonderful addition to my parenting toolbox. My child, who has autism and biting needs, loves them, and they’ve made a big difference in his daily routine. What I Love: • Durable and Safe: The silicone material is tough enough to handle consistent chewing without showing signs of wear, yet gentle on teeth and gums. It’s BPA-free and safe for kids, which is so important to me. • Variety in the Pack: The three-pack includes different shapes and colors, keeping things interesting for my child and allowing us to rotate them. • Wearable and Convenient: The necklaces are lightweight and easy to wear, which means my son always has access to them. The adjustable cord ensures a comfortable fit, and the breakaway clasp adds an extra layer of safety. • Effective for Sensory Needs: These chewy sticks help my child focus and stay calm during stressful moments, whether we’re at home, in the car, or in public spaces. What Could Be Improved: • Cleaning: While they’re easy to wash, I’d love if they came with a small storage pouch to keep them clean when not in use.Final Thoughts:If you’re a parent of a child with autism, ADHD, or sensory needs, these chew necklaces are a game-changer. They’re practical, safe, and provide the sensory input my child needs to self-regulate. Highly recommend

Good quality chew toy
When I tried it on a 2 year old client with autism, it worked well. I wish it had rounded corners. But other than that it works well and it’s thick enough for him to chew. It also has the back area to rub his gums, which is good for him to get used to. At first I thought that the colored part would easily fall off when chewing, but that part is not a small color piece separate from the whole chew toy. It’s part of it. The color is painted on. The toy is also flexible and bendable. It hopefully lasts a while. The pack comes with (3) chew toys.

Has a weak point between the "brick pieces" and could be a choking hazard if not kept an eye on
Been using my first one for about three days now. I'm an adult using a chewie to reduce nail biting/to combat more destructive oral stimming since I'm an autistic adult. And these are fine. They're a good size. They're dense. They dont hurt your teeth but they're not super weak either. However there are small slats between each of the lego-like brick pieces that your teeth easily slot into. And this makes it easy to gnaw on a small section at a time if thats how you prefer to chew but over the course of the last few days, I've nearly completely gnawed through the weak point between the purple and blue lego piece. I'm afraid that will be a choking hazard for younger children or autistic teens/adults like myself who happen to have less developed oral motor skills who might not be able to tell immediately when it's about to snap off.Luckily, I can see that it's going to be a problem and once it feels unstable I'll simply cut that section off and move on to chewing the blue brick and so on and so forth, but if you're buying this for an autistic child/teen/adult who maybe can't communicate the condition their chewie is in, you're going to want to check it periodically to ensure it's not at risk of falling off and becoming a choking hazard. If this was designed with all of the lego pieces fused together instead of having a slit between each one, it would be a little less flexible, but I think it would be a lot sturdier as a whole. Also, it will hold a smell! It smells like my breath. Would not recommend eating anything with garlic or onions before chewing on this as it will smell like garlic and onions haha.I simply set it in a mug and poured boiling water over it and let it sit for a few minutes (you could probably just wash it with mild soap and water but I prefer boiling water and the silicone can withstand it).Oh. Also. If you're a fellow adult with autism or adhd considering these chewies but feeling worried that it'll be obviously a chewie when hanging around your neck- I received nothing but compliments wearing it. It doesn't show bite marks unless you're looking very closely at it- most people I ran into out in public wearing it assume it's just a quirky piece of lego jewelry.
