Authentic Japanese Strawberry Mochi 3 piece pack (81 grams) 餅, もち

These are delicious! They have strawberry jam filling, and it feels very light and squishy. Only thing I would warn you about is that they could potentially get messy in the packaging, since temperature variations during shipping are a thing, and the stickiness of the mochi may be annoying, but honestly, they're worth it! Each piece of mochi is 90 calories, and I literally ate all three when I got it haha. Will buy again!

For the price and quantity of this mochi, I expected it to be pretty big—at least palm-sized. However, it was about the size of a silver dollar. One of the pieces also arrived smushed, but that was not a huge concern. Flavor wise, the mochi was ok—It tasted very artificial to me. However, I still found it pretty tasty. It was fresh and soft. I probably wouldn’t buy it again, but it did give me a little mochi fix.

Definitely on the gooey side when it comes to mochi, but pretty good.

While very tasty and all that having the cost of shipping increase and be more then the product itself makes it taste rather bad in context of taste to cost ratioI would recommend highly if it was not so damned pricey to eat

I bought these along with another brand Kubota (?) that sells here on Amazon, and these weren’t as good. Unlike the others, you can taste a slight alcohol tang from the little preservative packet that is in there and I did not really enjoy them. And they are slightly smaller in size. The strawberry filling isn’t really a strawberry taste, it’s more of a mystery pink goo. And there’s less marshmallow lining than the other brand. I won’t be buying these again .
