Prepare to go even faster and further with our Raptor hydration backpacks. The Raptor 14 and integrated 2.5 litre Hydraulics LT reservoir ensure that you can carry all the required gear and liquid to perform your personal best. Keep hydrated on the toughest of rides with easy access to the reservoir via an asymmetric zip for quick and easy refills. The hose can be routed over either shoulder, and the bite valve is held in place by a sternum-strap magnet. Heading on a long, hot ride? No sweat! The AirScape ventilated foam backpanel and harness keep you cool whilst still offering flexibility for movement without restriction. The BioStretch harness and hipbelt also offer high levels of ventilation, whilst the performance-fit shaping keeps the pack from moving off the shoulders during the most technical of descents. The sternum strap can be attached and detached with one hand, thanks to the innovative magnetic buckle closure system. Our unique LidLock attachment provides a quick and secure attachment point for your helmet, so it remains safe and scratch-free without taking up space inside your pack. All your gear is easily organised and carried within the quick access internal compartments. The base of the pack contains our rapid access ToolWrap, which stores all your vital bike tools in one divided pocket, keeping dirty or oily gear separated from the contents of your pack. The front compression pocket stores more gear securely and the stretch pocket complete with drainage hole, provides an ideal space for bulky additional items or can be used to stash wet items on the go. The front compression straps can be used to hold a full-face helmet or body armour too. Reflective graphics and LED light attachment help to keep you visible for when the weather turns or night falls.

Great all around biking backpack
Have tried a couple different mountain biking backpacks with a variety of pocket/pouch designs, bladders, and straps. This one seems to be best of the bunch for all around general usage, long biking trips, and simplistic/ergonomic design. Have ridden with this backpack on over a dozen rides so far ranging from simple around town commutes to 4-5 hour mountain biking sessions in the Florida heat. The USWE backpacks kind of beats this backpack in simplistic strap design (single clasp across the chest and bungee mounting straps), but I tend to find if I fill the USWE backpack bladder to more than 2L+, the strap really puts pressure on my chest when really pushing hard on the bike. The Camelbaks are nice, but tend to not have enough pockets/pouches for my liking, and I never seem to get the full amount of water I want because of Camelbaks' bladder opening design. The Osprey backpack can handle more than 2L+ without feeling uncomfortable or unwieldy on my back. The straps are good and secure, without feeling too in the way. The pocket/pouch design on this Osprey backpack works very well for easy access (just have to get used to where all the pockets/pouches are, but you get a good idea very quickly). The additional tool pouch at the bottom of the backpack is a smart design idea and keeps the weight low, so wearing the backpack on long rides doesn't feel like a pain. I can carry all my everyday stuff (keys, wallet, phone, headphones), along with tools (multi-tool, puncture repair, spare tube, tire levers, mini-pump), snacks (gels, bars and powder electrolyte sticks), small bottle of bug spray, and a light rain jacket easily in this thing without feeling too weighty or bulky.Only two items to be aware of/to note of this backpack:First, the bladder that it comes with doesn't have a detachable hose. Osprey does offer a version that does come with a detachable hose, or a conversion kit. I would recommend either of those for ease of cleaning and such. I ordered separately the 3L version because, well, Florida heat and humidity.Second, the chest strap/built in magnetic holder for the drinking hose is on the opposite side of where the hose is fished through and out of the bag. Because of that, it can come detached from the magnetic holder very easily and quickly. Luckily, you can actually remove the chest strap and flip it around so the magnetic holder is on the same side as where the hose comes out from the bag. Little finicky to do, but you'll thank me later when the hose isn't flopping about smacking you in the face and chest while riding.

Amazing quality, rated THE best day hydration pack by various MTB magazines
Always a quality product from osprey, but this is well thought out and a great fit for MTB all day sesh! The back isn’t vented like some back packs but I assumed this was for stability, freeze half your bladder before your ride and it’s spot on. I had to you tube how to open the bladder to begin with as it is very stiff to begin with and I was scared of damaging it, but it was very easy in the end. Little tip, peg it up after use with a toilet roll in the opening to let it breath. Water tastes of plastic to begin with, but this does ease. Excellent product myself and my mate have bought the same one, and this was the cheapest price I could find.
