It's comfy but
it could be comfier. I have had to add an extra cushion but I do have a lot of bother with pain and it's rare for me to find any chair to be properly comfortable.Otherwise it's fine. I love the colour, it was easy to build and, at its lowest, it's a good height for me (I'm 5'2").I'm happy to recommend this chair.

Cheap, cheerful, but a stop-gap until I buy a better long term chair
For the money it is pretty good and I bought it as I could get it next day. My old chair was worn through, with the gas cylinder finally pegging out at the weekend and leaving me sitting close to the floor so I needed a quick replacement but knew I would be taking a chance when buying simply from the photos.First off, it is comfortable and the back support is actually good. It is lightweight and certainly less sturdy than the chair it replaced, but I don't feel that I am about to fall over off it it whenever I move, and I am carrying a few pounds more than my doctor recommends! The arm rests are lower than my previous chair, too low for an adults arms to rest naturally, and I have learnt very quickly not to lean like I used to as there is nothing there to provide support! The mesh back, the first time I have had one like that, is surprisingly good in this weather. It might be different in winter, but I don't see this as a long term chair, it just being a convenient gap filler while I go out and physically try chairs - which is really the only way to determine whether it will do the job day in and day out. The up and down movement is smooth as is the lean back, although I locked that off as I prefer to sit upright. It is easy enough to put together with everything supplied, including the allen key, and it took about 15 minutes.I got it on a deal for a little over £37. For that money I can't complain, and it will probably do most people who just need to sit a computer for a short time each day. If you are at a computer/desk 8+ hours a day, like I am, and don't need anything in a rush, I'd say save your money and suggest actually trying chairs out and buying one that will likely last a few years and will have a warranty to match. They are a different price bracket though, so you want to get it right.I've knocked stars off for the low arm rests

Large chair
This is a very big chair,a lot bigger than I thought it would beVery comfy with back supportI had to get off the chair to make it higher but could lower it while sitting on itI only have a small space by my sewing machine so it was awkward for me to get it where I wanted itOverall it's a nice big comfy chair that I used often

Did not survive my teenager, but that might be less about the chair!
It was really simple to assemble and by all reports very comfortable. However, it didn't survive the unnatural amounts of leaning my teen did in the chair and some of the bolts tore free.

Stop gap solution only
This is a good little chair, relatively inexpensive, buying 2nd hair might mean you get a ‘better’ chair, but you’d still have to pay more. The seat is wide & I don’t get tired sitting on it - sometimes up to 6 hours per day. For those concerned about thickness, I think a cushion may help (haven’t tried it, tho). The backrest is good (arched). Very easy to assemble, on the whole. Adjustability is a definite plus. The downside is that it’s not very high at its highest. As I say, this was bought as the best of an inexpensive solution.I don’t expect it to survive for many years.I think the seat will become an issue, in time.It does the job.

Surprisingly great
I have been increasing my desk time of late so needed a more supportive chair but didn't want to break the bank. Took a risk on this one as it's really reasonable price wise - and I've been really pleased. I'm a fairly average height and weight female who sits at my desk for 3-4hrs a day. I've been using the chair for a few months now and I'm really pleased with it; personally I would have liked a little more arch support for my back but thats easily remedied with a cushion; otherwise it's really comfortable. The cushion is thick, the arm supports are sturdy and it moves freely. For the light desk user, it's an excellent buy.
