What a Difference in my Studio Space!
After my move into my new home, my art supplies were a mess. I never had a dedicated space before so all my brushes and paints have lived in tubs and carry-all bags. Now that I'm settled in my new home, I was ready to set up my art space. I LOVE the convenience of this display and being able to unbox all of my paints and brushes! Super easy to assemble. Some people may not like the lightweightness and the "rubber band" connections, but as long as you aren't banging around on the organizer, it should last a very, very long time. I'm actually going to order another section to expand my display of my brushes and paints.

Great paint organizer
As an oil painter, I like to store my paint tubes top down, and was hoping that this organizer would accommodate that, even though it is designed for the tubes to fit with the crimped end in the slots on the “floor.” It does exactly what I need it to do, and I don’t have to worry about the upside down paint tubes falling over & knocking the other tubes out of place. I like the organization & being able to see everything at a glance.I don’t often purchase the large tubes of paint, so the majority of the places for large tubes are unused until I can find a purpose for them. I would have liked an option to purchase a set with two of the racks that hold 18 small-to-medium tubes of paint, because that is what I am most in need of. It can be purchased separately, so that is an option, but it would be nice to have it all in one cost effective kit.Assembly is pretty easy for the most part. There is one little nit with the assembly of the unit for the smaller tubes: there is a definite front edge to the cross pieces that hold the bodies of the paint tubes, but there is no marking that delineates front from back. The tabs on either end of the cross pieces are slightly off center and are meant for the shorter sides to be placed facing front. If the pieces are not put into the unit correctly, it affects the ability to secure the final piece… but the problem goes unnoticed until the very end because everything appears to fit nicely until then.Once I disassembled and reassembled correctly, there was no issue. Neither of the other two modules of the system had this little issue. I think the instructions for this particular module could more clearly point out the difference & show the right way to place those cross pieces into the assembly.

Excellent Quality - Just Doesn't Work For Watercolor Tools
I recently purchased the Mezzo Artist Paint & Brush Rack set of 3 racks and I'll begin by saying that the racks are a lot bigger than they look online and they're a lot better quality and sturdier than I expected. I thought that they'd be flimsy and made of particle board, but they're actually made of wood and once you've got them put together, they're solid and they hold items well. They're also really easy for even a clumsy person like myself to put together, as the instructions are clear and simple.Having said that, I'm disappointed that they aren't great for watercolor supplies, which are shorter and smaller overall than oil and acrylic tubes and brushes. The brush holders are made for much longer brushes, so when you put watercolor brushes into the holders, they almost disappear; this means that you'd have to pull the brushes out by their bristles, which obviously is very bad unless you use cheap brushes. You can make it work for the brushes if you take off the top portion of the brush holders, but I imagine that will make it somewhat less sturdy. I'm going to give this a try, as I don't want to have to send them back. The real problem is with the paint tube holders: They were made to fit acrylic and oil tubes, so, even though they're smaller than the giant tube holders, they're still too tall for watercolor tubes. If you set the watercolor tubes in just right, with the edges sitting exactly inside of the slit at the bottom, then the tubes will fit and not fall, but if you're off by even a little, they'll just fall through. Also, partially empty tubes won't fit - they're too short, so they'll fall through. This can be rectified by placing a couple of sponges below the tubes, I think, but you'll need to get 3 or 4 sponges and cut them to fit properly to make it work.I'm going to find ways to make this system work for me by doing the DIY things I mentioned above, but I hope that at some point, Jerry's Artarama will make a version specifically for watercolor, as our tools are very different from oil and acrylic painters' tools.Overall, it's a great set, so I can highly recommend it generally, particularly if you paint in either oil or acrylic, but just be aware that you'll need to make adjustments to make it work for watercolor.*I took off a single star because it doesn't fit watercolor tools and I wish they'd have put that in the description, but if I'm just rating the quality of the item and not the description, then I'd rate it 5 stars.*

Great solution for small spaces
I have a small painting space and needed some organization. This was a great solution to my problem. Now my paints are set up according to how I place them on my palette. No more searching a box for the right color. I also like having a simple solution for all my brushes. Also it looks really snazzy on my paint table. Very pleased.

Usable but chipped & pieces don’t fit together just right??
So I have been slowly putting together my art station the past several months and finally got this to organize my paint and brushes. My boyfriend has a laser cutter and my parents own a print shop so I’m well aware of making cuts like this to build. Some of the pieces just don’t want to align and since these pieces are not very thick, it gives you a fear of pushing them together and potentially breaking them. I’m halfway through building & almost clicked return on this item but, like I said, they seem usable, just not perfect. I’ll post an update when they’re in use! I got the 3 piece set for $37.

Arrived broken was a gift
Person opened gift and some of the boards are broken making this item unusable. Quality isn’t there the boards are super thin like milliliters, thin. :(. Greatly disappointed! Waste of money! Don’t recommend to anyone.

Parfait!
J'adore! C'est ce qu'il me fallait autant pour disposer quelques pinceaux et tubes de peinture que j'utilise le plus fréquemment. C'est compact et le fait que ce soit pensé de façon étagée, ça améliore la visibilité de ce qu'on cherche!

Love love love
I’m so happy with storage solution, so easy to see all paints organised. Holes a tiny bit small for tubes, so bending the base of each Matisse tube worked fine.

Quite expensive for planks of wood
But I don’t know anything about wood and wood quality so maybe that’s why
