Two of these rugs were ordered may 2015. Based on online photos, they looked perfect for our cottage and we trusted the Safavieh name for quality. Home is occupied by a retired couple and one small dog. We are are away quite a bit, so it is not used full time. The rugs have been maintained properly. One used under dining table. One used in adjacent living room, under coffee table. These rugs are shredding on the edges. Threads are torn throughout. Big pieces of the weaving strips have pulled out and are sticking up. In general, falling apart, looking too tattered and worn to have had so little time and use. They are an eyesore and an embarrassment. We are ready to replace them now after less than three years of light use. According to my research, area rugs are lasting longer than 10 years. Safavieh response was no help. Neither was Amazon. :(

These rugs add just the right farmhouse look with a touch of blue. They are knobby, as expected, and are thick and well made. Very unique. Everyone remarks how beautiful they are. We like them enough that we are buying a 22 foot runner for the hallway, too. You’ll want to get some good rug pads.I wouldn’t recommend using one under a dining table, because furniture won’t slide on them. Moving the chairs in and out would drive you crazy, because you would need to lift them up to do it. However, this quality makes them perfect for our living areas. Our family room couch doesn’t slide and separate any more!I highly recommend these rugs!

I needed a large area rug for my new home, and looked online at a number of options.In previous homes I had wool carpets which I liked very much - but for this loft I wanted something more casual.This is more of a cotton/denim rag rug with jute woven in than a jute rug - but it's soft underfoot and lays easily. I doubt that this will have any of the edge-curling issues that many jute and seagrass rugs will have.The variations in the denim colors with the jute and cotton stitching is interesting and beautiful. This will surely go well with the white denim seating and dark wood pieces I have planned for this space.

Lovely rug. Subtle shades of blue that are pieces of denim in various shades of blue and white woven in the jute. Ours is not in a high traffic area so i can’t evaluate that part. The jute goes well with the wood in the room. Fairly soft. We used a pad underneath. Note that this rug’s patters is just woven in stripes. Some similar rugs have a diamond patters to the jute or have the jute woven up and down in some sections and across in others. Different numbers on those rugs. I wanted this one because I have busyness in the room and wanted subtle in the rug.

What a find!! I am so excited about this rug! It is beautiful and compliments my decor. The price was reasonable and the rug is or quality and actually looks better than the web picture. Now, it has a bit of an odor maybe because it's a joot and denim rug. I'm going to let it air out for 24 hours, but overall I'm very pleased.

This is a beautiful rug! It's a blend of natural fiber and denim (of varying shades of blue) strips woven into a relatively flat rug (i.e. it isn't likely to be tripped over). I purchased the 4' x 6' and had absolutely no trouble getting the ends to lie flat. My only problem with it is that, every time I leave the house, I must roll it up and put it on top of something to keep my Jack Russell from scratching at it. (He has issues with being left to his own devices and tends to act out.) Even so, I would purchase this rug again; it's well worth that bit of extra effort!

I love it! It is EXACTLY as pictured. There are no weird odors, the edges fall flat and it is beautiful. I am extremely pleased. FYI I have put this rug on a screened porch. It will not get wet unless there is a massive blowing storm but it will be open to the "elements" of dust and humidity and I don't foresee any problems with this as I had a wool rug out there originally. I purchased a 5x8 and could have done with a larger rug but this is a perfect conversation area rug plenty large enough for a outdoor wicker sofa, coffee table and two swivel chairs. I'm delighted.

I had some qualms about this rug, purchased as a "mud and sand" rug for a beach rental. It not only held up well for our 6 week stay, it shows no signs of wear at all, due in part to its sturdy construction and good thickness. Wish I had been able to take it home! Colors, by the way, are washed-looking; more attractive than the picture would lead you to believe.
