Works as it should but runs hot
Used this as a projector replacement in my 2001 tundra (with eagle eyes head light) and it works good. Super bright, but the temp of the heat sink gets really hot and is a concern if the car is sitting still. If car is running I'm sure the cool air helps cool it

The Best Lights in 2000 Toyota Tundra
I have tried several different bulbs in my 2000 Toyota Tunda including two different LED versions. Although the light on the LED was bright, there where shadows and difficult to see clearly the road ahead. These projector lights have solved this problem and now there is an even, clear view of the road. I love them!

Easy install, great lighting
The halogen headlights on my 1st gen Toyota Tundra were subpar in terms of light projection. Needed a better option and these mini projectors had good reviews and straightforward installation videos. These lights, particularly at this price point, are fantastic. The only drawback is that the high beam indicator on the dashboard isn’t working, although I read that this is a common problem. Not a huge deal as far as I’m concerned.I am happy with the lights and would buy them again.

Good, little blue in color
Somewhat easy install, crush the halogen shrouds and remove and then install these and aim. Better than stock for sure but little bluer than I would have liked.Overall worth it

Seems ok, but weird design flaw with the leveling and fan base
Definitely better than the halogen lamps it replaced, but there's a weird design flaw with how the fan base installs to the projector. First I installed the projector into the headlight housing, then leveled out the beam by twisting the main body of the unit. The problem is that the fan base also installs to the main body by screwing it on. When you try to tighten the fan base at all, it twists the main body and you lose the leveling. Its a tiny screw that is supposed to hold the position of the beam. I tried tightening that screw down as much as possible, but even a little bit of tightening would un-seat the beam from where I leveled it. Very frustrating.Unfortunately you can't install the fan base first because the dust cover installs between the fan base and the projector after you have the projector held in place with a wire buckle. I tried to install the projector with the dust cover and fan base already on, but it kept getting in the way of the wire buckle that holds the projector to the headlight housing. The only solution I could come up with was to not set the beam to level, but instead take it off center a bit in preparation of the fan base tightening turning it back a bit. You only get one shot at that though and if you go too far you'll have to take it all apart again and start over.
