CCTV: From Light to Pixels 3rd Edition

It is Excellent. I plan to pass the AXIS Communication Limited's CCTV related qualification but I haven't any experience and knowledge about camera, light and CCTV. I purchase this book and found that it can provide an excellent information, especially the basic concept of camera, image, light and CCTV. If U have time, I would highly recommend U to purchase it as reference book

Comprehensive and basic,I recommend it to all CCTV technicians, engineers and designers.Only simple comment regarding the historical first part of the book, I think we don't need to have that much of details because the whole technology have been changed.I teach and develop special training courses in the GCC, this book is one of my first references.

Excellent price very fast service.

For nearly £50 I expected to have high quality colour images inside the book. The content is very good however the quality of the images used lack definition and are very hard to determine what is going on. A book about CCTV that is in Black and White (MONO) is a strange choice. Then to top it off by making the images used throughout the book look like something a 2001 mono inkjet printer would produce, meh!!My first opinion was ' is this a very poor pirate copy'. I have finally come to the opinion it's just an over priced book with terrible image quality throughout.
