Steamer became intermittent and then mostly stopped working. YouTube research led me to this thermostat as the likely culprit. For a few dollars, purchased these, took the unit apart, and installed a new thermostat without any soldering (it's held in by 2 small screws). Entire job took 20 minutes, most of which was watching YT to figure out why the unit wouldn't disassemble. Turned out that for our model, there are two screws hidden up in the wheel wells. Just pop the wheels off (they are press-fit, just pull them off with your hands or use a screwdriver for leverage), and you'll see the one screw inside each wheel well. Once that little headache was understood, it's only a few minutes to finish the job. Now - I say 20 minutes... but in our case, the steamer was several years old and had accumulated a ton of chalky white mineral deposits. I took the time to clean each of the affected internal parts (again, only a screwdriver needed) using vinegar and water, so that added another 20 minutes. The steamer is as good as new now.

I'm a hero again saved me from buying my wife another expensive steamer for her hijabs.
