This product is dangerous, does not charge correctly and risks damaging a macbook pro. Do not buy!I reiterate, do not buy and risk the health of your computer. I will return this.

After first use plug fell apart exposing live contacts with plug, large enough for small fingers to touch. Spoke to an Amazon agent who wasn’t interested and looking at the reviews they haven’t taken any action and are still selling an unsafe product that may burn your house down or electrocute the kids. Probably best avoided.

I've given this 3 stars cause it's okay, not great. It arrived quickly and well packaged. Taking it out the packaging, it looked so similar to the apple one. The socket itself is removable, as well as the cable. After 2 or 3 uses the socket came away completely from the plug part. It didn't just fall out, but the wires were hanging out of it and there seemed to be hot glue residue on the inside. Luckily I'd kept the old socket I had from my apple charger, so just switched it over. I threw the entire old plug out as I didn't want to risk fiddling around with it, especially when there were exposed wires. The cable itself is long (same length as my apple one), but the actual port thingy comes loose when plugged into my laptop. I do have to push it in tight and then ensure I don't wriggle around too much as the slightest movement does loosen it and it stops charging. It's not that the thingy comes out of the port, just that it has to be pushed all the way in to chargeAnnoying? Yes.Did part of it break? Yes.Am I still able to use it for it's function? Yes.Don't get this if you're expecting apple quality, but it does the job at the price i paid for it.

Bought this charger as a backup as I'd forgotten my main charger while away for a week and needed my laptop for work. The charger worked fine during that time - I then used it as my 2nd charger when I got back, where it may have been used at most once a week. For no apparent reason (no damage, warnings etc), today it just stopped charging my laptop, while my main Apple charger is fine.

The plug broke after just two months.

Broke the earth pin on my original charger for my Oppo Reno 2 through sheer carelessness. I wanted a high wattage replacement as i like the rapid charging (or need because its rarely out of my hand). The cable is braided and of good quality and the charger is hefty and seems solidly built. The terminals fit snugly at either end. Charges my phone as quickly as the original and at a similar price point. Pleased with my purchase.

The product arrived undamaged and worked perfectly for about two weeks. Sometimes it became very hot as it draws a lot of power. However, it suddenly stopped functioning after two weeks and refused to charge any device on any socket I've tried now. Returned to Amazon.

This charger melted itself and its own cable attached to it.
