The LEDs are separate ones
Not the usual composite RGB LEDs (so each LED can display any color), but one red led, then one green, then one blue, and so on, about 2 cm apart.If the illuminated surface is near (eg. less then 10cm), the composite colors doesn't mix smoothly.If displaying pure colors (just red or green or blue), they are about 6 cm apart (like R-g-b-R-...), so on a near surface the light intensity again won't be smooth.If the surface is farther than like 20 cm it's OK, so I can use it, but I've seen better constructions.

Great service. Issues were fixed in quality, lasted a few weeks but has been replaced.
Item was replaced with good working unit, initially after only worked for 3 weeks and then only half strip is one color then other 10% another color and last part not working at all.

Adhesive is not good.
The light work really well, I have put them all the way around my tv cabinet looks great but only one thing the adhesive is not great you need to us adhesive cable holds, that is where it only got four stars.
