This is a well made ghillie suit. I ordered the dry grass, XL since most of my archery hunting is in the west, or prairies of South Dakota and Minnesota. I've seen the cheap suits, and they aren't very good. This one appears to be well made and sturdy. Bonus that it comes shipped inside out, to protect the "grass", in it's own stuff sack. It also comes with a "scarf", to camouflage a gun, though I can't use it for that.I've been hunting for more years than I care to admit and appreciate a good value in a good product. To give you an idea of how well this ghillie suit worked, I had a little fun with my gardeners.....scared them real good when that "new bush" came to life....If it will fool them, I'm sure it will work great in the field.....Support well made, American manufacturer's....if you are looking for a ghillie suit, this ones well worth the price.

I'm a wildlife photographer. I hate blinds. I'm very hot natured. First day out I have wildlife landing right in front of me all while wearing shorts and a t shirt underneath. Very comfortable. Of course it picked up some sticks and whatnot but no way around that. It actually helps. I took the big stuff out before putting in the truck. First spot I was in was some dry grass and a few old branches behind me. Worked very well. Next spot was actually sitting on some huge rocks with my back up against a rock and still had birds landing in front of me. I tried a project before trying to get terns diving in the water and it was a major no go. Their extremely fast and you have to be at least semi mobile in the upper body. This time no problem. Came home with some shots of terns diving right in front of me. That was first day out. It was extremely durable. The stitching and quality compared to two other ones I ordered and tried is unbeatable. They don't even compare remotely. I'll update but out of everything I've used the the several years this product is the best.

Holds heat well. one thing I looked for was fit. One comment said size up for layer. Another said 'elastic' it'll fit over clothing. I have to say. The XL (I'm 5'11" 190 lbs lean) and it's a lot to wear. I would make the argument that the size guide takes into account at least a base layer and a mid-layer. While I can easily layer up with this much room, I wish I had purchased the Large size according to the size guide. This will retain heat well.Construction: I did have a lot of extra material come off because it wasn't sewn in at all. But let me be clear, it seemed to be some extra that was left on there because even with the handfuls I've pulled off grooming it out of the box I can't see anywhere on the jacket where this stuff came off at all."Grass" - best I've seen. I have 3 suits and 1 leafy suit, but this guille is by far the most realistic, durable material I have seen yet. I'll be getting green for pre-rut NB and IL hunting as well.I consider myself a moderate objective reviewer so when I say highly recommend Arcturus products it's saying something. I love this entire system. Bravo. Stores perfectly inside out.

I purchased this ghillie suit in "Dry Grass" and it is outstanding... There is no chemical smell at all... it is full and does not shed. You couldn't ask for a better commercial civilian ghillie suit in my opinion. I highly recommend it. I also purchased another ghillie in woodlands from another brand the same day and it is not even close to the quality of this suit. I am returning the other suit and ordering the woodlands from Arcturus... literally twice the suit . hope this helps.

Poor quality, the “grass comes out in in bunch. Used 3 times and it is already half bold. Not talking about that the cords on the hood will drive you crazy by hanging in your face all the time.

I like it, would probably work as it came in the mail, but I really did not like the way it was layered. Far to much of a man made look to it. I ordered a few bags of extra thread and have added much longer threads between the existing layers. LOTS of work but gives the suit a MUCH better look and more natural in appearance. I would recommend they extend the threads to about a foot long and random pattern not such a constant. I will include a picture of mine when I am done adding thread so you can see the difference.

This suit is made great. It has a bag to pack the suit and store it. I tired it on very comfortable and vented to let the body breathe. For me perfect. I'm a 6ft 2in 350lbs guy and it fit with plenty of room to spare. I can wear a jacket with ezzz. I got the extra large suit. I highly recommend this suit. It's an easy 5 star product. I may buy the other suit as well. Most of all great price!

As is this is completely fine. there are some negative reviews but if your that picky, take the week and build your own then reconstruct when the seasons change. for me its perfect, there is a good hand length in between the stitching i took some of the strings that fell out (which is not nearly enough to be any issue) as well as stripped some 550 cord using the guts to make loops and ties for brush when I'm in the field. i went with the dry grass, my wife had asked why? I took one roll down the hill collecting leaves and branches and laid under a bushy green pine. and the same should apply in spring. there is tons of add on room. I don't play airsoft nor do i know the rules so I can't say how it would preform in that aspect. As for being undetected it works great for the money. took me all of 2 hours to get it sorted. I could spend more time on it but I am gonna take it out for a nice little field test before winter ends and then in mid spring. I will readjust this review if I run into any issues.

Not enough string and to much space between rows. I bought this for turkey hunting it works but could use more string
