I have bought these batteries before, and for different cameras. They are not the most high powered batteries, but, they have one feature that makes this brand (Big Mike's Electronics) my batteries of choice. Low drainage while in the camera. All batteries, after being placed in a camera seem to begin to lose their charge - drainage. However, with these batteries my cameras can sit in the camera bag longer, while losing less of their charge. I have a Sony NEX 7, I put a battery in with 100% charge and within 4 days it's down to 80%. Not so with these batteries, Big Mike's if still not at 100% may have dropped to 95% at the most. They just last longer in the camera, and, if the price is about the same for a premium battery, why not go with one that's built better? I have a Pentax K-3, the NEX-7, and an Olympus M5, and now I have BM Electronics batteries for all of them, with no complaints. These batteries are worth buying.

This is truly a love hate affair. The batteries are indeed fully decoded, and work in the camera without issue. The battery if used as soon as it is put into the camera will indeed shoot 1000 images provided you don't do a lot of chimping. If you have not exhausted the battery at the end of the day put it into the charger instead of leaving it in the camera. It might just be my camera. If the battery is left in the camera over night, it will have far less charge than it did when the camera was stored away. The battery will hold a charge if stored separate from the camera. Maybe your camera is different, and this problem is local to my camera. I keep both batteries in a coat pocket when not in use.

This is a great alternative to the Olympus charger and battery. I was a little skeptical about the quality, but having seen so many positive reviews, I decided to spend roughly half of what I would have spent for one Olympus battery and hoped for the best. I was not disappointed: so far, the two batteries have held their charge as well as the original battery and the charger is much more convenient to use. The original charger for the EM-5's battery is a corded affair that has to be placed somewhere ( i.e. a shelf, a table), but the Big Mike's charger plugs directly into the AC outlet. I'm used to the arrangement - Canon uses it and I would imagine other camera manufacturers do as well. I haven't had a chance to try the Car adapter, yet, but I'm sure it'll be fine. I was pleased that a "European" AC plug was included as well. I appreciate that kind of attention to detail. I may have to pick up one of the USB dual chargers at some point, just so I'll have all the bases covered, but this charger has definitely made my photographic life much simpler!

The batteries worked well for about 6 months but recently I have noticed they have begun to swell and the sides are bulging out enough that they are difficult to remove them from the camera. I don't put much faith in these batteries at this point, which is disappointing as I have used this brand of battery before without much of an issue (the batteries themselves are marked as Power2000 brand.) Hopefully BigMike's has switched to a different manufacturer since May of last year, when I purchased mine.

This set of batteries is fine and fit well. However, my short non-scientific experience seems to suggest the capacity is fairly low. A fully charged battery lasted just over an hour with minimal use when I was playing with the menu and changing settings. The stock Olympus battery lasted many times longer than that.

I had a set of third-party batteries from another manufacturer didn't last even half as long as the original Olympus batteries when charged. I finally got frustrated with them after they started swelling and getting stuck in the camera, so i decided to give these a try. All I can say is, Wow! What a difference! These are every bit as good, if not better, as the original Olympus batteries. I've been able to shoot all day on one of these when before I would be going through two or three of the other third-party batteries. I liked them so much I ordered a second pair. Now I never have to be frustrated with dead batteries when I'm out shooting.

Time will tell on the batteries. I have had another brand that worked well for a year or so, then started swelling so bad they would get stuck in the camera. These batteries and charger look like quality and are significanrly cheaper than OEM.

Batteries work with OEM charger, and price for 2 batteries is less then half the cost of one oem one.You do get what you paid for though, factory battery charges to 8.6V what a fully charged 2 cell li-on should be.One of these batteries maxes out at 7.9V and the other at a slightly better 8.3V, tried in both supplied charger and OEM charger.Also one of the reviews mentions the supplied charger doesn't fully charge the OEM battery, thats because the supplied charger with this kit maxes out at 8.4V @ 0.6A (OEM is rated to 8.7V @0.6A). So I can confirm this. Also the supplied charger with this kit doesn't use the cell balancing leads on the battery which over time may degrade battery life so I wouldn't use this charger over the OEM. If your in a pinch and need these extra batteries OK but just spend $80 on OEM considering you just bought a 1K+ camera... Time will tell how they hold up

Delivered quickly. Very handy to have a backup set of batteries for an aging original battery. The charging options make it easy for travel.
